The Role
ECU is seeking a highly experienced academic practitioner with national standing in the field of teaching and learning and student success and a commitment to excellence and equity in higher education.
The Lead, Teaching Futures will work closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) to develop ECU’s quality teaching practice model and support the systemic adoption of active learning pedagogies across the University. The role will also lead the learning spaces piloting and prototyping project and conceptualise operating models for educational spaces that reflect all learning modes. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and evaluating our professional learning and change program, including an advisory/mentoring role for teaching staff.
As the Lead, Teaching Futures, key responsibilities will include monitoring and benchmarking best practice in teaching, learning, and student experience across learning modes, engaging externally to maintain and enhance ECU’s reputation for teaching quality, and building strategic networks and collaborative relationships while fostering a culture of capability building and mentoring. You will lead a cohesive, collegial, and innovative team, working with the broader University and specifically the City Campus Operations Program and the Centre for Learning and Teaching.

The Role
ECU is seeking a Project Manager to provide detailed scoping, planning, delivery and oversight of selected projects contained within the Student and Staff Transition Stream of the City Campus Operations program.
The successful candidate will have highly developed relationship building and negotiation skills, along with experience in project management across the full life cycle from identification to completion, including experience managing and leading a team. They will be passionate about planning and day to day management of projects in a higher education environment.
As Project Manager, key accountabilities will include the planning, coordination and delivery of the detailed work, resources, schedule and dependencies across initiatives, along with the coordinated oversight and management of risks, actions, issues, dependencies, decisions, assumptions, schedule, budget, communications and business change. Capabilities
Suitable candidates will meet the following capabilities:
• Postgraduate qualifications in program or project management and extensive relevant experience, OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
• Demonstrated experience in project management across the full life cycle from identification to completion, including experience managing and leading a team with familiarity with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile)
• A background in higher education with demonstrated experience in planning and managing business change within this context

The Role
The Management Discipline within the School of Business and Law is comprised of high performing, scholarly and impact-oriented academics who seek to transform lives and enrich society through their research, teaching and engagement activities.
The teaching profile of the Discipline encompasses programs, majors, minors, specialisations and units in the fields of management, strategy, international business, international management, human resource management, business psychology, employment relations and health management, at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Teaching is delivered in a variety of modes spanning face-to-face, intensive and block delivery, hybrid, online, as well as accelerated online formats.
The Discipline seeks to make an academic appointment at the B, Lecturer, level in one or more of the following areas:
• International Business,
• Human Resource Management, and/or
• Management
Successful appointees will demonstrate capability in undertaking high-quality, engaging research that meaningfully contributes to business practice and creates a positive societal impact.
