You will be a trusted thought partner to the product management and field teams, working closely on jointly defining the outbound strategy to drive the adoption of Elastic technology in security. You will need to become comfortable with the technical aspects of your products and the markets they play in, as well as the creative aspects of positioning technology through stories that are compelling, authentic, and engaging. What You Will Be Doing:
• Crafting differentiated messaging and positioning as well as content for Elastic Security
• Enabling the field on our products and solutions, through training and content
• Defining and implementing the GTM strategy for new launches & campaigns
• Measuring critical metrics to supervise the launch and efficiency of the campaign
• Maintaining a subset of competitive analysis in security
• Attending trade shows and other events to help showcase our products
• Some travel is required
What You Will Bring:
• Direct experience with SIEM, security analytics, threat hunting, EDR, cloud security or related topics, and associated target audiences
• Curiosity about the “how” of technology to tell compelling stories about the “why”
• Relevant work experience in a technical field (e.g. CS, CSE, EE)
• Proven track record to craft engaging content, including blog posts, presentations, videos, etc.
• Strong communication skills, with experience making pitches to audiences big and small
• Comfort working in a very cross-functional role, with a highly distributed team
Bonus Points:
• Practitioner knowledge and/or experience of the security domain is preferred
• Comfortable marketing to mix of analyst and IT security leadership audiences
• Prior experience in a more technically hands-on role (developer, sales engineer, consultant, etc) is a bonus
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant in this fast growing, globally distributed company. This role will report to an Accounting Manager based out of Colorado, United States.
What You'll Do:
• Perform reconciliations for payroll and benefits-related and other general ledger accounts, including investigating variances and resolving reconciling differences
• Work on commission related accounting entries including deferral
• A key player in supporting a timely, accurate and reliable global month-end close
• Assist in preparing the monthly reporting package, providing insight to business trends and variance analysis to senior management
• Maintain general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations
• Support both internal and external audits

What You Bring:

• Perform reconciliations for payroll and benefits-related and other general ledger accounts, including investigating variances and resolving reconciling differences

The Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant in this fast growing, globally distributed company. This role will report to an Accounting Manager based out of Colorado, United States.What You'll Do:
Perform reconciliations for payroll and benefits-related and other general ledger accounts, including investigating variances and resolving reconciling differences
Work on commission related accounting entries including deferral
A key player in supporting a timely, accurate and reliable global month-end close
Assist in preparing the monthly reporting package, providing insight to business trends and variance analysis to senior management

• Initial & ongoing account planning/research, whitespace mapping and sales campaigning / prospecting and ROI business case assembly expertise a must.
• Responsible for mapping & teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including executives, engineering, IT Operations, InfoSec, business/product owners, legal, procurement and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to earn trusted advisor status via creative thinking, articulating a customer-centric vision and tailored business-outcome based value propositions while generating enthusiasm, to move all business groups to action.
• Selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and solution adoption while actively building a ground swell of awareness, interest and solution usage from within the ranks in parallel.
• Works with all appropriate Elastic resources (Executives, Solution Architecture, Marketing, Partners, Customer Success, Engineering Support, Professional Services) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for their customer while balancing the business needs of Elastic. This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources that may be geographically distributed.
• Development of formal case studies & references highlighting tangible business outcomes from Elastic Observability, Security and Enterprise Search solutions usage is core to the role.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills required.

• A bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience selling enterprise software (SaaS, Cloud, On-premise) as the account and overall relationship manager
• Minimum of 5 years experience as primary account manager of large global companies (Fortune 2000).
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus commission. On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 50/50 pay mix (base salary / target variable).
