Job Summary:
As the Director of Exhibits & Sponsorship, you will lead our medical conferences' exhibits and sponsorship department. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, and ensuring the success of our conferences through compelling exhibits and sponsorship management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to advancing medical knowledge and facilitate connections within the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive exhibits and sponsorship strategy to drive revenue growth and maximize exhibitor and sponsor satisfaction.
• Identify and engage potential exhibitors and sponsors, nurturing relationships to secure their conference participation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sponsorship packages and promotional materials that align with the needs and objectives of exhibitors and sponsors.
• Manage the exhibits and sponsorship lifecycle, including prospecting, contract negotiation, logistics planning, and on-site execution.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of exhibits and sponsorships within conference programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to exhibitors and sponsors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the conference experience.
• Track and report on key metrics related to exhibits and sponsorship performance, including revenue, satisfaction, and return on investment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the exhibits and sponsorship program.
• Supervise a team of exhibits and sponsorship professionals, providing guidance, and support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, event management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in exhibits and sponsorship management, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through successful exhibits and sponsorship programs.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with exhibitors and sponsors.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and delivering results within deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of the medical conference industry, including current trends, industry regulations, and compliance considerations.
• Proficiency in event management software and CRM platforms.
• Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
