The successful candidate will be responsible for review, communication and implementation of SOPs, work instructions and KPIs in the department, based on customer requirements, Corporate Integrated Management System, regulatory and industry standards, Quality Management Systems and departmental objectives and policies. Job Purpose: To oversee and manage handling companies in the USA including ground handling, mail and cargo businesses delivering safe, secure and customer focused services ensuring implementation of strategic plans to maximise the long-term profit and performance of these international handling businesses To work on expanding the business in the region by approaching new customers in new countries. To drive, as part of the global leadership team, One dnata strategies from conceptualisation and prioritisation through to implementation. To support in the implementation of one dnata initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the DSVP Airport Operations to develop the business strategy for the region and each independent business to maximise the long-term financial performance and cash generation of each business in line with the overall dnata international airport operations strategy - Lead the financial, safety, commercial, legal and operational performance in each business of the region. Identify business issues and corrective actions across the region - Develop and present annual budgets (consolidated profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement), and expectations on investments, personnel and productivity of each business - Work with the DSVP Airport Operations to make decisions on commercial contracts related to the region, capital expenditure, appointment and major operational decisions, pay recommendations and budgeting - Build and maintain relationships with customers (internally and externally) to ensure that maximum customer satisfaction and optimum profit for dnata - Maximise the efficient use of the business’ human, material and financial resources - Manage changes through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices - Work closely with the Regional Directors/Vice Presidents to obtain a better understanding of their needs and strategize for new solutions, operating standards and services which align to business needs - Create an effective regional structure which maximises the effectiveness of the collaboration and creates synergies between the different areas of the country - Oversee dnata’s regional portfolio and work on growing the region to maximise dnata’s profit - Implement the new safety management system / Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure that the businesses in the region achieve the highest level of safety performance - Ensure ground and cargo handling activities are conducted in compliance with all government-mandated security procedures and industry standards in the region - Drive the implementation of One dnata initiatives by contributing to the Global Leadership Team and ensuring that the results are translated to each of the businesses in the region - Provide visible leadership to motivate and inspire the highest level of ethics for our staff across the USA - Ensure the achievement of required results in each company by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback to maximise country and regional performance - Represent the businesses in all matters involving operations, clients, authorities, legal authorities and furthermore, promptly inform the Board on any matters that could have a substantial impact on the concerned business in the region. - Play an active part in enhancing the organisations ‘One dnata’ culture through supporting the Culture Survey and subsequent action planning for improvement - Lead employees to achieve the organisations mission to “deliver the promises our customers make”, to work toward the vision of “being the world’s most admired air and travel services provider” and to demonstrate alignment to the company values - Identify opportunities to strengthen the value chain to enhance the overall customer experience Qualifications/ skills/ experience / knowledge Candidates must have the right to work and reside in the United States.

Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related field Experience: - 14 years of experience in airport operations with an international airline or ground handling agent including at least 6 years in a managerial role. - Experience in United in Laws and Regulations advantageous - Experience in Aviation Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, Health Care, Employment law and Directors and Officers Insurance. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Responsible for the development and continuous editing of Emirates Partner Portal; to use this tool as the central information repository with all the relevant commercial information. This includes close coordination with the Sales Managers, Channel Managers and the Global Sales department in Dubai. Ensure that all key commercial procedures and processes are featured on emiratesagents.com/us are incporpoorated into the partner portal.

2. Develop best in class virtual training tools (Webinar) in order to reach the growing home-based agent community. This includes continuous interaction with the sales team, potential external vendors and head office departments.

3. Continuous liaison with the Sales Managers to ensure that all commercial information is constantly updated on salesforce.com and to ensure this group page is the central commercial information repository for the allocated region. Ensure that all sales campaigns are tracked in salesforce.com

4. Administration and execution of all national sales campaigns and promotions. This includes booking campaigns, sales blitz, new route launch activities and other ad-hoc campaigns.

5. Manage the email marketing platform used to communicate with trade partners, this includes but is not limited to, bi weekly news letters, ad-hoc bulletins, database administration, and provide frequent campaign statistics to relevant stakeholders.

6. Support Sales Managers in the activation of the various Sponsorship activities and administer guest lists, hotel bookings and other logistics.

7. Ensure close coordination with the local Corporate Communications representative related to the production of local sales collateral and point of sales material.

8. Work closely with the Agency support manager to ensure EK’s sales support operations are regarded as best in class, where gaps exists work to develop solutions to address such gaps.

9. Provide comprehensive support to Commercial Operations Manager in ad-hoc projects and administrative activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with the whole regions commercial team, various head office departments (Corporate Communications, Global Sales, BICS) and external vendors and partners.
