Job Summary

TAI is supporting one of the largest manufacturers of home improvement projects in the U.S. with its opening for an Engineering Manager. This individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of the Engineering Department in addition to overseeing safety, quality, customer service, efficiency, cost, project management and maintaining the facility.

What You'll Do:
• Plan and Coordinate the efforts of the engineering department to provide a capital project management and continuous improvement plan that utilizes best practices to effectively support continuous improvement and optimize cost.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and implement needed corrections to ensure processes and practices stay in control while continuous improvement objectives are obtained.
• Using data driven analysis, drive continuous improvement in the plant's overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) metrics, focusing on equipment availability.
• Instill continuous improvement in safety and housekeeping results. Establish industry best housekeeping standards, procedures, and associate practices to maintain a professional, neat, and safe facility.

Your Background Should Include:
• Bachelors degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering
• Seven or more years of relevant engineering management experience
