Qualifications

• Familiarity with mechanical systems with emphasis in the industrial areas of machine design, structures, and material handling, including cranes, gates, hoists and various equipment at hydroelectric dams is preferred
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel. Understanding of conditional formatting and macro functions is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present decisions
• and reasoning in a clear and concise manner
• Must have experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Desire and passion to learn intricacies of complex industrial systems
• CAD experience drafting machined components and understanding of fabrication shop practices is preferred
• Previous experience in fabrication shops and/or field work crews is preferred
• HVAC/Plumbing experience is not desired and will not be considered
