The Financial Aid Representative is responsible for assisting students in navigating the setup of aid to help cover their tuition. This consists of, but is not limited to, guiding students through relevant applications, calculating eligibility, and counseling students on how that eligibility affects their education.
• **This position is located on the Boulder campus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides exceptional customer service for students and staff:
• Keeps 72-hour contact with all unpackaged students;
• Responds to all communication (Voicemail, Email, IM) within 24 business hours;
• Shows promptly for scheduled meetings and calls;
• Remains available and prepared to field incoming communication;
• Communicates to students in a professional manner;
• Fosters an engaged working relationship with institution counterparts

Counsels students, parents, and other interested parties on the availability of financial aid programs:
• Understands what programs are available and the requirements for each;
• Be able to articulate technical topics in a relatable fashion;
• Explores and explains all relative options;
• Pursues understanding over delivery of information

Is a steward of the Student Finance Department;
• Keep sensitive information safe and secure;
• Successfully implement new procedures
• Analyze and calculate awards accurately

-Collect and store appropriate documents
• Other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Degree or equivalent, Associate degree preferred
• Prior financial aid experience a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Student Account Representative is responsible for providing information on registration, payment, billing and collection policies and procedures related to student account transactions. Handles a variety of customer situations and disputes using tact, diplomacy and patience to defuse irate/angry customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accepts calls for current, past due and delinquent student accounts. Completes appropriate forms/reports and corresponds with students as required.
Work with college-wide student services staff and department leaders to research and resolve or redirect student disputes and appeals.
Assists college-wide staff and students with interpretation of information on student accounts and related college policies and procedures.
Performs payment processing and refunding functions for student accounts. Follows specific college procedures and policies.
Assists customers with inquiries on deferred payment arrangements.
Logs all pending and follow up action taken on computer database.
Assists customers with inquiries regarding 1098-T tax reports, including correcting student account records; generating duplicate statements; reproducing the 1098-T forms.
Invoices: Provide invoices received, to Campus President and/or 3rd party for approval signatures. Sends signed invoices for processing timely payments. Collecting new vendors-W9 and submit to Corporate Accounting Department.
Other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent. Associates preferred.
Six months high school or college coursework in accounting.
One-year experience in office environment processing, recording or compiling accounting, bookkeeping or cashiering transactions.
Must be familiar with college billing and refund policies, institutional and FERPA confidentiality regulations; and Federal Title IV cash management regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Chrome

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Director of Financial Aid - Residential is responsible for the hiring, training, and team performance of Financial Aid Advisors on the Boulder Residential Campus, by providing exemplary customer service and assisting students navigate through various funding options to finance their education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Staff Development- hire, train, and develop team members.
• Communication- ensure each Financial Aid Advisor has an appropriate student volume within the packaging lifecycle, to maintain 72-hour contact with unpackaged students, and articulate to the Campus President students that are stalling within the packaging lifecycle

. • Communication - demonstrate collaborative and effective channels of communication between Financial Aid and admissions, to ensure an excellent student experience.
• Systems- each Financial Aid Advisor will have access to the systems needed to best assist students with funding options., such as Campus Nexus, Salesforce, MY Live chat, Zoom, NSLDS, COD, et al.
• Operations- ensure that each Financial Aid Advisor is providing exemplary customer service by reviewing call observations, and making sure students are progressing through the packaging lifecycle by achieving 75% packaging rate by On-start date.
• Operations - ensure that 2nd academic year packaging is completed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Other duties as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience working in Financial Aid.
• Prior Financial Aid Management Experience required.
• Must have prior experience with a Student Finance Audit.
• Must be familiar with SFA Audit Guidelines, Title IV Handbook, rules and regulations.
• Prior VA Certifying Official experience is preferred.
