ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES MANAGEMENT:
• Reach customers sales objectives (sell-in and sell-out) by working closely with the sales coordinators to ensure ordering process is done smoothly
• Suggest orders based on visits and stock analysis from customer reports
• Send novelties suggested orders before the launch to guarantee launch implementation
• Follow-up on stock coverage (objective 0 ruptures)
• In charge of collecting payments
• Update our sell-out panel monthly (sales & trends) and send it to the brands

MARKETING:
• Improve brand image through qualitative animations and added visibility in store – Negotiate prime backwall space (being mindful not to take space already allocated to any Essence Divisions)
• HPP/SPP: Prepare by shipping the elements & negotiating orders prior to the events (working with the BAs and store managers). Send a recap of each animation with quantitative and qualitative results
• Events: Prepare and participate in the in-store events (perfume launches & skincare master classes) – this requires travelling on some weekends
• Novelties forecasts to be done with the sales director and brand manager
• Allocate the POSM for the customers yearly and follow-up on their shipping
• Present all the novelties to all the customers to book animations
• Suggest spiffs based on stock at POS and A&P allowance
• Follow-up on retailer’s implementation of social media package sent by marketing

MERCHANDISING:
• Merchandising: Improve brand image at POS (updating visuals & space with current guidelines)
• Ensure that the backwalls follow the merchandising guidelines provided by the brand and always travel with a copy to leave in each store
• Responsible to provide accurate visuals dimensions to marketing for them to produce them

TRAINING:
• In charge of training all the BAs in the dedicated territory (conference room and on-counter trainings)
• Executing the training, following each brand guidelines
• Managing the shipping of all the gifts and the production of the decoration
• Responsible to send training recaps after each one of them

MANAGEMENT OF BAs:
• Develop and motivate the BC team by communicating with them (via email, Whatsapp) and challenging them on sales objectives & achievements monthly.

BUDGETS & A&P:
• With the Sales Director, create the A&P and make sure not to overspend
• Full management of travelling and training budget and submitting expenses on time every month
• Responsible to provide finance back-ups for every invoice and to enter the invoice properly on Sage

BUSINESS TRIPS:
• Require travelling 3 to 4 times a year to key accounts and at least once a year to all accounts
• Prepare the trip calendar in advance and book the trips in advance
• Prepare the trip by sending the agenda & going with clear objectives (orders, space, animations, etc)
• Take pictures of all the brands during each visit and upload to server in a timely manner
• Send a recap after every trip with action plan and follow-up with the customer on its implementation
• Required to attend Orlando trade show and seminars

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Social Media to drive the development and implementation of an Essence Ventures cross-brand strategy while guiding a team of 4-5 social marketers todeliver on that vision.

About the Role
Team Leadership/Department Strategy
Oversees a team of 4-5 social marketers + community managers responsible for all B2C digital marketing channels - this role will interface with cross-functional teams (Consumer marketing, Content and Editorial, Product/Growth, Brand, PR, and Creative to drive marketing success against core goals for the department
Develops long-term approach and strategic social vision for Essence Ventures and each of its brands delivering against growth and performance metrics (audience/platform growth, audience referrals, engagement, etc.) while deepening relationships with core consumers (voice, tone, engagement, community management, etc.)
Creates launch plans for new capabilities in line with strategic vision for social across platforms and delivers traffic driving initiatives by leading with innovation
Collaborates and forms relationships across internal cross functional partners to build from their strategic focus areas to a complete platform vision, and path to execution
Drives operational excellence by evaluating, evolving and establishing new processes to drive team workflows, increased productivity; Develops team best practices for (campaign management) seasonal and daily marketing
Develops global strategies for organic and paid social marketing

Platform Partnership Management
Serves as primary point of contact for our social partners globally (Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
Conducts regular business reviews with each platformand deliver recommendations for ongoing partnership and relationship development to senior leadership
Evaluates social partner portfolio to best leverage platform superpowers and provides strategic recommendations on which partnerships to leverage to specific outcomes
Drive business intelligence across our social partners and engages then for platform pilots and beta testing
Platform Excellence
Defines annual and quarterly KPIs in partnership with cross functional teams; implements process for tracking those benchmarks and delivering monthly reports on progress
Informs and delivers behavior trends thatimpact our overall approach to social, marketing and content
Updates and sets governance, policies and procedures and requirements for engagement and ongoing management of channels
Develops creative approach for social in partnership with Creative team

Responsibilities:
• Supervising student arrivals, dismissal, and late-arrivals.
• Supervising sessions of recess and lunch.
• Daily prepare menu items as outlined on the food production record.

• Cashier, when assigned, following departmental cash handling procedures.
