T2S Solutions, LLC, a Veteran Owned Small Business, has an immediate opening for a PNT Electronic Warfare SME to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. As a PNT Electronic Warfare SME at T2S Solutions, you’ll work with a team of driven, mission focused engineers and scientists, to create innovative software solutions that will keep the U.S. Army on the cutting edge of technological advancement in Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR).
Responsibilities and Duties
• Understand the GNSS RF environment and GNSS Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) threats.
• Design, requirements allocation, analysis, and verification of the algorithms and simulations of military Global Positioning System (GPS) and Position Navigation Timing (PNT) user-equipment products.
• Set the conditions for the development and demonstration of technologies and techniques that enable intelligent electronic protection of tactical Position, Navigation and Timing.
• Provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software.
• Understand and articulate PNT architecture and requirements to validate the lab environment. Work with the lab engineers to integrate current and emerging sensors and products required to validate PNT systems against established emerging threats.
• Define technical analysis methods, conduct independent research, and present findings.
• Provide engineering and technical assistance to support data requirements and network design for future PNT/EW assets, ensuring that system designs are operationally relevant.
• Address complex tasks and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently/efficiently and to thrive in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
Basic Qualifications and Skills
• Active DoD Security Clearance Required
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or Physics from an accredited university.
• Familiar with developing signal processing algorithms
• Proficiency in using high-level computational tools (Python, MATLAB, C#, etc.) to facilitate data analysis.
• 10+ years of experience in relevant competencies such as signal processing, wireless communications, encryption, navigation algorithms, precision timing technologies, link budgets, and RF propagation.
• Demonstrated applicable experience in one or more of the following disciplines: GPS, PNT, Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR), Electronic Warfare (EW), Communications Engineering, and RF Theory.
• Experience working with Government representatives and current vendors, providing solutions to customers within the DoD and Intel Community.
Preferred Qualifications
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, Physics, or related field.
• Previous experience with GPS/PNT portfolio systems (Space, Ground, and user segments)
• Experience in Machine Learning, specifically in RF signal processing application
• Experience with GNU Radio, REDHAWK, X-MIDAS, PHOTON, or MORA
• Knowledgeable in current and future Army requirements for PNT capability, including the development of the Ground, Stratosphere, and Space based capabilities. Familiarity with current PNT / APNT Programs of Record PORs (DAPS, MAPS, ALTNAV) and Anti-Jam (AJ) antenna technology.
• Experience with integrating, implementing, and testing of RF, PNT, SW, SBC or OPEN VPX cards on CMOSS platform
• 15 years’ experience in test and evaluation of GPS/PNT and/or EW systems
• Strong experience in electronic warfare (preferably Navigation Warfare)
