As our IT support specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our technology infrastructure, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for our staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and addressing any other technical issues that arise.
• Onboarding and basic training on hardware, software, and Exclaim procedures.
• Manage our technology infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and software applications.
• Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates, virus scans, and backups.
• Work with vendors and staff to complete a variety of IT security maintenance tasks, including Email, Firewall, Multi-Factor authentication and other cybersecurity related areas.
• Manage our cloud-based applications, including email and file-sharing systems.
• Oversee the cybersecurity of our computing assets, including all laptops and server infrastructure to ensure that our systems and data are secure and protected from external threats.
• Provide training and support to staff on the use of our technology systems and applications.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
• Research and recommend new technology solutions that can improve our operations and productivity.
• Provide annual plan and budget for upgrades. Exclaim is currently on a 3-year cycle of hardware upgrades.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field within a Apple/PC environment.
• Knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with PC and Apple operating systems and server administration.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications such as Adobe and Microsoft 365.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
