Job Description

You will lead a team, develop talent, and cultivate an inclusive environment. You will be the head of Finance for Experian’s direct to consumer (D2C) business ($1B+ in revenue). You will work closely with the President of D2C, functional leaders, and GMs of verticals in the D2C business. You will help guide investment decisions, provide thought leadership, predict financial implications of strategic decisions, develop go-to-market strategies, and identify opportunities to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
• Partner closely with the President and the leadership team of Experian Direct to Consumer
• Lead a finance team responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables, annual budgets and 5-year strategic planning, with emphasis on business partnering
• Partner closely with strategy, analytics, and revenue operations functions to deliver on long-term strategic initiatives and in-quarter targets
• Build multi-year investment cases and set up financial processes for new initiatives
• Act as a thought leader in D2C – fully understanding all aspects of the products and services, competitive landscape, product and technology solutions in the market – connecting these options to financial scenarios
• Give sound financial guidance on M&A exploration and due diligence, in partnership with the Corporate Development M&A team
• Fully own M&A financial cases pre- and post-acquisition
• Support integration efforts and play key role in achieving financial targets post-acquisition
• Partner with Experian’s corporate finance teams to meet deadlines for deliverables (internal and external) and evolve finance practices with digital finance and best-in-class solutions
• Recruit, develop, and direct a team (including on-shore and off-shore talent) that works closely with the business to deliver on strategic objectives
• Drive an outside-in perspective by understanding and sharing the market landscape
• Champion productivity initiatives and agile practices across the organization
• Successfully work on multiple high-visibility initiatives, understanding the details while at the same time being able to advise strategically on big picture items
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent practical experience. MBA or CPA preferred.
• A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience in finance, corporate strategy, or similar environment, including FP&A.
• Significant experience with digital consumer businesses
• Significant people leadership experience and a history of building high-performing teams
• Role model a growth mindset and promote continuous improvement / process efficiency
• Expert communicator across different audiences, with significant prior exposure to C-level executives
• A proven track record of partnering with the business to deliver significant financial outcomes
• Thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
