• Revenue Strategy: Develop and oversee a clear channel development strategy with focus on distribution and in alignment with Nord Layer’s business objectives;
• Identify market trends, partner needs, and competitive insights to shape effective sales strategy through partners;
• Collaborate with strategic partners and distributors to set revenue targets and KPIs and deliver execution plans to reach them;
• Focus all energy and efforts towards achieving the monthly sales goals through strategic initiatives and team enablement;
• Partnerships and Alliances: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with distributors and key partners, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives;
• Identify potential strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to expand channel sales;
• Lead negotiations with partners, finalize agreements, and manage contracts to establish mutually beneficial terms that drive sales growth and brand presence;
• Sales and Marketing Alignment: Foster collaboration and alignment between the sales and marketing teams to maximize lead generation and conversion through strategic partners and distributors;
• Oversee the development of sales and marketing strategies to optimize customer acquisition and retention;
• Oversee sales promotions, evaluate their effectiveness and success, and make data-driven decisions to optimize future promotions;
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing channel sales team;
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members.
Core Requirements
• Sales Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years in senior sales roles, preferably within the Cybersecurity industry, showcasing a consistent record of leading successful sales teams and finalizing crucial contracts;
• Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans, identifying and seizing upon market opportunities. Proven adaptability to navigate dynamic market landscapes, leading teams through periods of growth and transformation;
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Cybersecurity, IT, or related sectors, understanding SaaS business models, particularly in driving growth through Channel sales strategies;
• Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships pivotal for sustained business success;
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management abilities, adept at closing deals and creating win-win outcomes.
• Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in analyzing sales data and market trends and interpreting performance metrics to drive well-informed decision-making processes.
