) As the primary contact for our members and providers, the Service Representative is one of the most important positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Service Representatives work in a structured inbound call center environment.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is the largest health care provider in the Commonwealth.
The Federal Employee Program is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts's largest single account.
The training commitment requires you to attend a ten to twelve-week virtual new hire training program.
During that time, our new team members experience a classroom and lab environment where you'll be provided in depth training and then be supported while taking member calls with extensive coaching and support.
Training is Monday through Friday.
While in the classroom, you will work 8:
30 am-4:
30pm.
During the lab and in the call center, the hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:
30 am-4:
30pm and Thursday, 8:
30 - 5:
30pm (details be to be shared).
A 15-month commitment is required for this position, after which you'll have the opportunity to apply internally for other positions.

EDUCATION/RELEVANT
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years customer service experience Technology savvy with strong working knowledge of computer software applications and operating systems with the ability to learn quickly and navigate through multiple systems simultaneously.
