Responsibilities

The manager is primarily responsible for managing, budgeting and forecasting expenses related to Technology (Enterprise-wide System Contracts, Depreciation, Payroll, Travel, Supplies, etc.). The manager is responsible for creating pro formas, and analyzing financial metrics, for technology contracts. The manager is also responsible for ad hoc analysis including, but not limited to, IT related requests and initiatives. The manager will work closely with Technology, and eComm/Omni Finance to support the ExpressWay Forward strategy to X-celerate Sales and Profitability.
• Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for all technology-related expenses
• Identify risks and opportunities to technology expenses, to help proactively manage expectations and help drive investment decisions
• Support the Technology teams as needed on financial requests related to the budget and forecasts
• Run deep dive analyses on Technology expenses as needed, to better understand trends in performance, payroll, etc.

Required Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Statistics
• 6+ years of experience in budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis with 3+ years of manager experience

How will you make an impact in this role?

As part of the broader team, the Analyst in the Investment Optimization team will focus on analytics and decision support for US marketing investments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Works under minimal supervision, through established procedures, to ensure appropriate assessment of client clinical rules impacting rebate eligible products.
• Second review clients’ financial pricing and rebate guarantee setups, payments, and reconciliation reports.
• Collaborate with IT partners on system and reporting requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and work with Manager/Supervisor to determine corrective actions as needed.
• Assistance with day-to-day prioritization and workload management and escalation.
• Special projects and process improvements.
• Mentor, training, and team development.
• On-going review of policies and procedures.
• Other duties as deemed essential by business to support rebates optimization process.

QUALIFICATIONS
• BS degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree.
• Related work experience in PBM, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industry preferred.
• Control oriented and strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills required.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and SQL preferred.
• Effective communication with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management.
• Experience working with cross functional departments to research and resolve issues.
• Understanding of and experience with quality and process improvement concepts, methodologies.
• Requires experience in business analysis and production testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for all technology-related expenses of OPEX and CAPEX, +$150M in annual spend
• Manage headcount, vendor, and contractor staffing projections
• Identify risks and opportunities to technology expenses, to help proactively manage expectations and help drive investment decisions
• Support the Technology teams as needed on financial requests related to the budget and forecasts
• Present monthly to the Tech leadership committee on financial performance
• Run deep dive analyses on Technology expenses as needed, to better understand trends in performance, payroll, software usage, operating rations, etc

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 6+ years of experience in corporate FP&A performing advanced modeling, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, cost benefit analysis, and operational or project finance
• 2+ years supporting technology departments or enterprise-wide technology projects
• Advanced Excel
• Strong experience in PowerPoint slide generation or other Board of Directors materials

How will you make an impact in this role?
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners in Product, Marketing, Risk, Pricing, and within Finance and other functions.
• Create financial analyses for initiatives such as new lending capabilities, organic growth initiatives, and profitability/breakeven analyses of the portfolio.
