Are you an accredited Audiologist with significant tertiary teaching experience and a strong track record in research? Flinders University is seeking an experienced and esteemed Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor in Audiology who is committed to the scholarship of teaching and strives to contribute to high-quality and impactful research!

As the Senior Lecturer in Audiology (Teaching and Research), you will contribute to innovative research that aligns with the Caring Futures Institute (Australia's first fully dedicated research centre for the study of self‐care and caring solutions), while concurrently delivering excellence in teaching. You will undertake a lead role in the planning and evaluation of teaching and learning through the development and delivery of lectures and tutorials or other modes of learning, such as placement education for topics within the suite of Audiology. You will also provide a significant and high-quality research contribution to the Caring Futures Institute through collaboration, cross-disciplinary research activity, and the strengthening of new partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You will attract external grant income, publish high quality academic journals, and supervise higher degree by research (HDR) students.

As the Associate Professor in Audiology (Teaching and Research) you will have a highly regarded research reputation and you will make an outstanding contribution to research by obtaining competitive research grants from outside the University and producing high quality publications. You will provide leadership in Audiology through collaboration, capacity building and advancing cross-disciplinary research activity within Caring Futures Institute, as well as strengthening and exploring new partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Concurrently, you will also strive to deliver an innovative and inspiring student focused approach to teaching and learning in Audiology.

As the Professor in Audiology (Teaching and Research), you will be an internationally recognised leader who will advance the development of the discipline of Audiology and the College's reputation as a centre of excellence in education and research, both nationally and internationally. You will strengthen Flinders Audiology Program by supporting research track records, exceeding research performance expectations, and strengthening strategic partnerships with stakeholders that have potential for growth or improved research outcomes for the University. Your leadership in teaching and learning, research, and administration of the Audiology programs, will also develop diverse and meaningful work-integrated learning opportunities to grow Audiology services within Flinders University and at regional sites.

You will be a natural leader in education and research with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships with a range of diverse staff, students, and stakeholders. • A current membership with Audiology Australia.

• Significant and sustained evidence of successful relevant teaching experience at tertiary level (for career stage), including responsibility for topic coordination, accreditation activities, course coordination and/or curriculum design.

As the Senior Lecturer in Audiology (Teaching and Research), you will have:
• Completed a PhD or EdD or equivalent qualification in Audiology or any one of the following:
• Evidence of peer-reviewed independent research demonstrated to be of an equivalent standard in the discipline area.
• Evidence of professional standing, reputation and qualifications demonstrated to be of an equivalent standard in the discipline area.
• Completion of a higher degree at Masters level or substantial progress towards a doctoral degree in the discipline area.
