The Highlights Production Assistant is responsible for cutting highlights for NFL & College Football games plus College Basketball games. Note: Football season (Late August to January) and College Basketball season (November to early March).
Responsibilities:
• Deep familiarity and tactical understanding of NFL, College Football and College Basketball
• Produce short form highlights in an Avid or EVS setting that summarize the story of the game with time limitations while maintaining editorial sensibilities and shot sheet accuracy under time constraints/deadlines
• Cut pre & post-game interviews using sound editorial judgement and/or at the direction of the Producer / Playback Producer
• Ability to multitask and perform highlight responsibilities while simultaneously listening to our On-Air Talent and Producers

• Secure video and audio footage to be used in highlight packages
