Position Summary

The Executive Director of Development (EDOD) for WFUV leads a team of fundraising professionals responsible for securing gifts in support of the University’s nationally recognized member-supported public radio station and other important university priorities.

Essential Functions
• Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President of Development and University Relations, the EDOD leads a team of professionals responsible for securing annual gifts, leadership annual gifts, and major gifts totaling between $4.5 million and $5 million per year.
• Solicits advisory board members and other major gift prospects and develops and executes campaign strategy for the station’s capital and endowment needs.
• Supervises the membership (4 FTE) and special events (2 FTE) teams responsible for securing annual operating support and is a member of WFUV’s senior management team and DAUR’s development leadership team.
• All members of DAUR are expected to assist the alumni relations and special events teams during Jubilee, Fordham Founder’s Dinner, and similar “all hands” events as needed.
• Occasional evening and weekend work is expected.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, business, or related field.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of professional fundraising experience, including demonstrated success at raising major gifts by developing and implementing cultivation and solicitation plans for gifts of $25,000 and above.
• Demonstrated ability to write effective solicitations, proposals, acknowledgements, case for support documents, and donor communications.
• Experience in successfully leading teams. Demonstrated interpersonal and team-building skills to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, donors, volunteers, advisory board members, trustees and senior university officials, with an emphasis on tact, diplomacy, flexibility, collaboration, professionalism, and discretion.
• Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in fundraising for public radio and/or cultural organizations.

Minimum Starting Salary: $170,000

Maximum Starting Salary: $195,500

The Intramural and Club Sport Manager is responsible for the administration and organization of the intramural, and the club sport programs.

Essential Functions
Club Sports (45%):
•Supervises the current program of club sports.

Position Summary

The Research Compliance Director functions as an independent and objective individual responsible for promoting and monitoring compliance concerning research at Fordham University, whether funded internally or externally, or unfunded. Essential Functions

• Develops programs that encourage staff, students and faculty to report suspected compliance issues without fear of retaliation; works with the Faculty Senate President on any matters of reported research misconduct.
• Serves as Director of the University Research Compliance Council; serves as an ex-officio member of the University Research Council.
• Coordinates internal compliance review and monitors activities, including periodic reviews of department policies and procedures; conducts periodic risk assessments and tests of response plans.
• Independently investigates and acts on matters related to research compliance and responds to government investigations and queries as the principal point of contact.
• Provides assistance in the development and interpretation of policies and procedures and enforces standards through well publicized disciplinary guidelines.
• Develops and maintains a training database and coordinates with other departments to ensure that all staff, student and faculty required to obtain research compliance education have done so; provides reminders about the need to update certifications or training; implements research compliance education where needed to fill in training gaps.
• Works with the Director of Environmental Compliance and Occupational Safety to ensure the safety and safe usage of research labs.
• Assists the Manager of Grants Accounting and Compliance to resolve any financial compliance issues related to the research program.
• Actively seeks and obtains current information on changes in laws and regulations and making necessary changes in the compliance program as needed.
• Obtains advanced knowledge from attending workshops, seminars and conferences and networking with compliance colleagues.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in an institutional research compliance role preferably in an academic or hospital setting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience required.

Position Summary:
The Intramural and Club Sport Manager is responsible for the administration and organization of the intramural, and the club sport programs.

Essential Functions:
Club Sports (45%):
• Supervises the current program of club sports.
• Supervises, hires, and trains all club sport advisors/coaches.
• Meets regularly with club presidents/captains.
• Works closely with the Senior Associate AD for Facilities to schedule practices and games.
• Coordinates team travel for practice and competition.
• Sets and manages the annual operating budgets and gift accounts for each team and provide a continuous monthly ledger.
