Job Overview

The Support Services Specialist plays a pivotal role in our organization, collaborating with students, the sales team, and operations to deliver efficient student support. This position demands versatility, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. We're seeking an innovative problem solver who can independently manage projects once trained.

Job Responsibilities

Support

Support the sales process by preparing materials, welcoming, and registering seminar and class attendees, maintaining an inventory of manuals, and generating various operations and sales reports.

Create and dispatch pre- and post-class communications.

Ensure the classroom is ready for sessions, including computer setup, projector functionality, whiteboard cleanliness, and facility readiness.

Provide support and backup for in-center and/or remote Previews.

Assist assigned Enrollment Specialists (ES) in addressing student support issues during high-traffic periods.

Assist with finance paperwork and deals for all customers.

Configure trading view setups for MTO labs and asset classes.

Investigate complaints, refund requests, and general inquiries.

Sales & Operations

Assist in confirmation and payment calls as directed by the ED, including but not limited to asset classes, Previews, OTA educate events, and pending deposits.

Manage the front desk, answer calls, and welcome walk-in visitors.

Organize and maintain office, classroom, and break room supplies and equipment.

Handle BigCommerce orders, refunds, and student inquiries.

Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Education Director.

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

Experience with Trading Stocks, Options, Forex and/or Futures preferred.

Exceptional telephone and customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for customers.

Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the capacity to work with minimal direct supervision, while seeking guidance when necessary.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple priorities/projects while maintaining a positive and outgoing attitude.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

High school diploma required, with some college or a college degree highly desirable.

Trading experience a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation.

Ability to perform minor lifting and carrying of supplies.
• Work schedule typically runs from Thursday through Monday (with variations based on class schedules). Weekend flexibility is essential for assisting with weekend events
