The Role:

As the Senior Legal Director, Data and Privacy you will serve as the primary coverage for our growing Forge Data business. You will work closely with the business and other internal stakeholders to advise on specific Financial Market Data products and services, and related legal and regulatory requirements. You will also advise on data protection, governance and privacy issues and work with InfoSec, Compliance and other internal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws while enabling data-driven innovation. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think and act both strategically and tactically with respect to the needs and objectives of our business while ensuring that the company remains compliant with various data protection and other laws and regulations as well as industry best practices in data and financial services.

Location: This role will require you to be on-site at one of our offices ideally New York but open to San Francisco 1-3 times a week

Responsibilities:
• Provide legal support for Forge Data business, collaborating with product and engineering teams on new data products, and advising on market data, index and/or other data products in financial services relating to trading and investment services
• Negotiate and manage various licensing, distribution, and other agreements, ensuring consistent legal guidance and risk alignment
• Stay current with regulatory developments, updating policies and agreements, and advising on data privacy and financial services compliance
• Identify and address new privacy and data law requirements, providing guidance on data anonymization, AI capabilities, and data analytics

• Comprehensive understanding of applicable legal and regulatory frameworks, including federal and state financial regulations, data products, analytics, indices, and data governance
• Proficient knowledge of US privacy laws and hands-on experience implementing privacy programs in growing companies; familiarity with foreign privacy regimes and the ability to adapt quickly

Reporting to the Chief Revenue and Growth Officer, the role of Business Manager, Growth will be a key player on the Growth team, helping to drive operational execution and alignment within Forge’s revenue organization. You will be reporting on business strategies and supporting day-to-day operations of the Growth team to improve revenue and operational efficiency.

Superb interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role, as good teamwork is important for our business success. Suitable candidates should also be excellent written and verbal communicators and possess the ability to identify growth opportunities. They will partner successfully with stakeholders across Forge to ensure that the appropriate frameworks are in place to propel and support revenue objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the CRO and the Growth leadership team to implement strategic initiatives across Institutional, Markets, Companies, and Data teams to achieve revenue goals including Growth OKRs.
• Work with the leadership team on quarterly reporting, and templatization of these reports across Growth revenue streams
• Help identify and build client segmentation across Growth teams including Markets, Data, and Companies
• Work with business line leaders to address challenges and identify solutions that ultimately ensure revenue goals are met and exceeded.
• Develop internal and external presentations, communications, and reports on behalf of the CGO and Growth organization.
• Manage projects for the Growth leadership team and CRO which include international reporting with our Forge EU team.

Qualifications:
• 7 – 10 years of Experience in a Business Manager, or similar role supporting C-level executives.
• An undergraduate degree focused on Finance, Marketing or related fields.
• Experience in financial services and knowledge of a regulatory environment
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to address escalations and resolve problems using an analytical data-driven approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA and New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $175,000 - $220,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, annual bonus, and other factors.

The Role:

Reporting to the EVP, Custody, the role of VP of Business Development, Custody will be a key player on the Custody team, helping to drive pipeline development and revenue within Forge’s Custody organization. Acting as the lead salesperson, the individual in this role will put in place and manage processes to drive partner, account, and revenue acquisition within the Custody organization.

Working across multiple levels, the VP of Business Development, Custody will help to align the execution of tactical programs and revenue objectives with Forge Custody’s overall revenue strategy. They will partner successfully with stakeholders across the Custody team to ensure that the appropriate frameworks are in place to propel and support revenue objectives. They will also develop and build a pipeline and close deals to onboard new asset sponsors, wealth managers and other channels onto the Forge Open Platform.
