• Contact management to discuss issues or concerns as they arise throughout the work day.
• Perform all post-delivery actions, including unloading damaged product, customer returns, and complete any necessary documents.
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations during the operation of the truck and handling of product.
• Monitor and ensure that temperature controlled vehicles maintain required temperature limits to ensure product quality.
• Develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and goodwill by providing professional assistance and by demonstrating an interest in the customer’s needs. Report any complaints to Supervisor.
• Collect money from customers and properly record transactions on company documentation, including invoices. Ensure that payment (cash, checks, etc.) are properly secured.
• Ensure that safety training is current as per company policy.
• Supports the Fleet Manager by ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to schedule and records are current and correct.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:
• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – One to two years of commercial driving experience. Transportation of temperature controlled product experience preferred.
• Customer Service – Friendly, outgoing and courteous customer service demeanor.
• Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Licensing - Must have a valid standard Class D Illinois driver’s license or local state equivalent.
• Environmental – Available to work long shifts and Saturdays.
• Language – Basic English speaking proficiency.
• A combination of the above will also be considered.

• Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, and driving

Are you an accounting professional with a public accounting background and have aspirations to become a CFO or Controller? Desired Skills And Experience
