RESPONSIBILITIES
• Children’s Volunteer Teams: Recruit, develop and support volunteers; ensure current background checks are up to date. Regularly communicate vision and ministry updates to South Everett Foursquare Leadership Team.
• Curriculum and Teaching Plans: Determine (source and/or supplement) a children’s ministry curriculum. Prepare weekly Bible-centric lessons, materials and activities for the children’s ministry.
• Communication and Volunteer Scheduling: Schedule weekly children’s ministry volunteers (setup and service volunteers). Communicate weekly lessons and service plans to children’s ministry volunteers.

Quarterly events and activities
• Pastoral Care and Generational Unity: Pray for and engage with children and families as time allows beyond Sunday mornings. Be mindful of moments of crisis and celebration in the lives of children and families. Work with the worship and hospitality teams to facilitate quarterly Family Sunday. Engage, teach and disciple children as they use their giftings to serve in the church.
• Ministry Upkeep: Attend monthly leadership team meetings (first Monday) and monthly one-on-one meetings with Pastor Chris Peppler. Oversee the children’s ministry budgets. Be responsible for purchasing all needed items for the children’s ministry and submission of receipts for reimbursement (snacks, activity materials, events, etc.).
