FOX is growing and our Finance team is hiring a Collections Specialist, Credit and Collections. Working independently and as part of a team, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient collection of payments from advertising agencies and direct-billed advertisers for digital and cable advertisements running across Fox News and Fox Business properties. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with agency and advertiser A/P departments and Treasury, contacting them to secure timely payment of advertising invoices
• Prioritize collection activities to maximize cash receipts using Get Paid software
• Work internally with sales teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure that post-air invoice adjustments are promptly processed and approved
• Provide invoice copies to agencies and the sales teams as requested
• Escalate problem accounts to management in a timely manner
• Research and resolve unapplied payments for application approval or refund authorization
• Research invoice short payments, collect on balance, or follow up for invoice adjustment
• Prepare management reports to communicate status of aged invoices
• Estimate monthly cash receipts to aid in forecasting
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with superb verbal and written communication
• Excellent analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Strong organizational skills to allow multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Strong reporting skills which will be utilized to create and maintain efficient business reports that provide relevant customer information
• Intermediate to advanced Excel expertise (including Sorting, Searching, Filtering, Formulas, V Look-up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
