- Work closely with the News Director and Assistant News Director to craft daily content decisions on multiple platforms

Fox Carolina’s News Producer is responsible for creating, coordinating, and executing your assigned newscast. You will write scripts for broadcast, participate in daily editorial meetings, present story ideas and use studio storytelling to present and highlight our community focused stories. This position plays a key role in creating the show's vision based on goals set by news management.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Content creation - coordinates story development with the reporting and management teams.
Show production - creates production elements, show/story flow.
Writing - writes mini-paks, intros, VOs and VO/SOTs.
Booth producing – coordinates live elements with the crew and news team.
News Gathering -may be assigned to make calls to outside sources to gather facts for on-air and on-line reporting.
Rundown review/production – review rundown and on air look with managers.
Ability to create a fast-paced, aggressive newscast.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communications.
Minimum two years of producing or production support for a TV or cable station.
Experience with Edius, I-news, internet production tools, MS Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with others.
Self-starter with the ability to follow through on projects until completion.

The Digital Sales Manager will lead the station's efforts in the development of new and incremental digital business utilizing the best in class digital product suite from Gray Digital Media; reduce digital churn; oversee the station's digital sales assistant while coaching, training, mentoring and leading a top-notch group of local Account Executives.

Job Summary / Description :
Do you want to be on the forefront of designing, crafting the best morning news content? WHNS-TV is looking to hire a Morning Senior Producer.
This person is responsible for helping us strategize a new one hour news program. You will create, coordinate and execute this newscast daily, writing scripts and crafting a hard news show for our audience.
You will develop the day-to-day on-air look and play a key role in reimagining daily news. This position is a stepping stone to news management.
Duties / Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
Developing and crafting a daily newscast
Working with other show producers in helping guide quality control in their shows
Working closely with news managers and assignment editors in determining content needs enhancing content with graphics, video research, and station branding
Making time sensitive decisions
Writing clearly for multiple platforms on tight deadlines
Communicating with field crews responsible for show content
Demonstrating creativity and strong editorial judgment while following journalistic ethics and libel laws
Being an ambassador of our Committed to You brand to help us continue to serve our community
Qualifications / Requirements :
• At minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or a related field.
• 4+ years experience in a working newsroom
• Self-starter, with knowledge of and ability to operate state-of-the-art television news equipment as well as website publishing.

We are offering a significant base list and generous commission rate on new business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing revenue on TV and Digital platforms, strong new business development experience and the ability to negotiate effectively with good closing skills.
