Our mission at Fundrise is to allow everyone access to a technology driven, diversified portfolio of institutional-quality real estate. Founded in 2012, we’re the... largest direct-to-investor real estate investment platform in the United States. We make institutional-quality real estate investments available to individual investors of every size at the touch of a button.
Since our launch, Fundrise has raised over $2.4 billion from investors in all 50 states and has been honored on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies and the Financial Times 2020 and 2021 ranking of the Americas’ fastest growing companies. We’ve also been recognized as Nerdwallet's Best Real Estate Investment Platform of 2021.
We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to become one of the first hires on our new growth tech engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a major role in one of the key initiatives that will shape the future of our business. Our team is building a brand new product that follows our company’s mission to build a better financial system for the individual by unlocking access to an enormous new asset class that retail investors have previously had little to no access to. If you’re excited about our mission, a new innovative approach, have a passion for technology and enjoy working with a high degree of autonomy, this is the role for you.
In this role you will help build out the front end for a new, greenfield, customer facing application at Fundrise. Working alongside other front end engineers, back end engineers, and stakeholders from our Product and Design teams, you’ll be building out key components of a new area of Fundrise’s business. Our tech stack consists of some of the most recent technologies, frameworks and popular service providers such as Plaid, Snyk and Auth0. We’re working with the latest versions of Vue 3, Typescript, Spring Boot and Java and plan to deploy on AWS managed container services. Our team consists of just two engineers at the moment while the wider Fundrise engineering team is almost one hundred. This role is a rare opportunity to combine the excitement, and opportunity for growth of working on an early stage application within the support of an established, revenue generating, rapidly growing fintech company.
