In the lab, my real fish is held in place, within a visual display (in either a dome or between 2 or 3 screens. I would therefore like to be able to render the scene for this fish, according to the geometry of the video screens around them (virtual camera positions).
Furthermore, I would like my fish to be able to "play" this game, and swim with other fish. I have software that can track the tail movements of the real fish and translate this into real positional and angular updates in the VR world. I would like to use this to allow my fish to navigate through this underwater scene (similar to having a computer mouse as an input to control the user's position in the game).
I have a preliminary version of this made in Unity3D, but the firm I hired to do this failed to make this final step (allow my fish's movements to move their position in the game). I can provide their Unity code, to whoever takes this project.
this will be used for biology and neuroscience research in an academic setting
