Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide support to internal and external clients with team-before-self attitude
• Maintain contracts/agreements for office-related vendors and coordinate with vendors, e.g. recycling, supplies, printing, catering, etc.
• Provide document support including report preparation, formatting, editing, and proofreading – display proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Maintain general digital filing of electronic documents
• Maintain appointment calendars
• Tabulate data
• Assist with the upkeep of project descriptions
• Assist with marketing duties as needed (e.g., help with RFPs and RFIs)
• Provide other clerical administrative support as needed
• Make travel arrangements
• Schedule, plan and assist with office meetings, to include setting agendas, developing meeting summaries/attendance information, and ordering meals/refreshment
• Plan and lead staff events
• Submit articles about events and updates to corporate news network
• Support Regional Management with engagement activities such as announcements, meetings, Director’s WebEx, and Senior Leadership Livestreams

• Education | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience as an administrative professional is required
• Effective communicator, written and verbal
• Must have the ability to work for and with multiple teams
• Must be able to manage staff needs and perform various financial/accounting duties relating to vendor invoices and bank reconciliation
• Must be highly proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook and have excellent typing skills
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
• Must be a self-starter

Education | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate industry experience
• EIT or PE License and/or RCDD or be able to obtain them preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and communications design for transit and rail systems
• Experienced designer with experience in two or more of the following sub-systems: Networking (Ethernet, FO, Layer1 and Layer 2, OSP and ISP) SCADA, RF, CCTV, Telephony PA/VMS
• Construction experience in a relevant field
• Proficiency in drafting, using tools such as AutoCAD, to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, communication networks, and integration principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in an engineering or construction environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in multiple modeling and drafting software tools (MicroStation, REVIT, Blue Beam)
• Demonstrated Project Management experience
• Understanding and application of Electrical Codes and Class 2 wiring requirements.
• Knowledge of ADA and NFPA requirements
• Hands on experience in RF design, WLAN, WiFi and Voice Radio.
• Prior experience conducting site surveys and inspections
• Experience with Cost Analysis and Construction Estimates

• Minimal interface with clients, data collection, attendance at meetings is required.

Education | Experience:

• Desire to work in or knowledge of the consulting engineering profession
