• Knowledge of the demands that a Microservices architecture requires. Building the correct infrastructure and monitoring systems to support.

This is a large volume project that is going to be delivered on our easy to use online platform, and will last for about 6 months between September and February with 90 million words in total (up to 6, words per linguist / up to , words totally) being available DAILY on the Gengo platform.
You can easily get started with these 3 steps :
1. Create a Translator account on
3. Provide your PayPal account details
3. Take the applicable tests for English into Japanese
Please note : The Gengo onboarding process starts with a preliminary multiple-choice test. If you pass this test, you will have access to a written test which will be reviewed within 5 business days.
If you also pass the written test, you will be able to start working immediately. We will send you a tutorial that will help... you get started with the Gengo translation workbench in no time.

This is what you need to know about the project :
Task : Edit as the elements of the original text are translated without excess or deficiency.
Jobs : The Gengo platform is self-serve. It’s important to note jobs will not be assigned to you specifically. You control the show decide which projects you want to pick up and work on your own schedule at your own pace.
However, for this huge volume project, we prefer translators who are available regularly for 6 months.
Rates : Given the content and volume, jobs will be available at a flat per word rate of 2.9 YEN (JPY17, per day for editing words per hour for 8 hours).
Payments : There are no invoices required and payments will be made via PayPal in USD. For more information, including how to set up a PayPal account in Gengo, read this FAQ.
