ABOUT THE ROLE
You support Pliant as a Business Development Manager – Travel Industry (m/f/d) on the German Market. You convince our potential customers from the travel industry that Pliant's B2B payments solution is the best way to pay. You will work closely with your colleagues from Customer Success, Underwriting and Product Management.

• Analyse: You're up for sourcing the current market of travel agents, tour operators, destination management companies and many others to find relevant leads that can benefit from our exciting Pliant travel payments solution.
• Select Channels: You have a desire to work creatively and select different channels and strategies for customer outreach.
• Customer advocacy: You take ownership and communicate skilfully to contact potential customers and build a strong customer pipeline.
• Understanding: It's important to you to know your contact's needs and problems, ask the right questions and listen to them in order to pick up your customers where they are at the moment.

As our Travel Specialist, you will become a key member of Indico Travels’ team, while helping us grow the brand. You will report to Sina, the brand director and founder of Indico Travels. You will be the main contact for our travelers, and take on responsibility for sales of our group tours.
Your daily tasks will include answering customer queries and following up on sales interest. You will be on top of sales numbers for your tours and work with your colleagues to boost sales where needed. You’ll update the website where necessary, and work on ad hoc or larger projects to further Indico Travels success. Your main responsibilities will be

Your Qualification
• Consulting experience in the service areas: Digital Analytics, Disruptive Digital Strategy, Digital Transformation, Digital Enterprise Operating Models
• Understanding of Digital Adoption/Change, IT-Architecture and Technology
• Knowledge of Digital/Web Analytics with a focus of Google Analytics, Tag Management, Event Stream, Audience Stream, A/B testing, HeatMap, Tableau, PowerBI or other Reporting tools
• Stellar university education (Master’s degree preferred) combining with industry knowledge in Airlines, Airports, Transportation, Travel Intermediaries and/or Hospitality
