Team mission
We are now searching for a Senior Media Manager or Media Manager based in our New York City office to join our incredible Brand Organization. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of the team shaping our brand from the ground up and meaningfully contributing to the company’s mission to give the whole world access to unforgettable travel experiences. As (Senior) Media Manager USA you will report to the Media Lead and work on strategic brand projects that grow awareness to our target group, the Modern Explorers.
You will:
• Support the media lead with the execution of multi-million dollar ad spend for all ATL marketing channels (TV and online TV, dOOH, OOH, Radio, Podcast, etc) in the US Market.
• Work closely with the US brand manager, the global brand team and marketing stakeholders to support and implement branding and marketing strategies
• Establishing a strong working relationship with our media agencies to deliver excellent planning, buying and reporting of our media campaigns
• Partner with GetYourGuide's in-house Creative Studio and Brand teams to develop unforgettable ads
• Partner with Marketing Analytics to optimize, track & report on Brand Awareness & Direct Growth performance to adjust media mix
• Foster knowledge exchange across campaigns, teams and the company
Who you are
• You are physically based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. We operate on a hybrid work model and value in person interaction in our Manhattan office 2-3 times per week.
• 5+ years of hands-on brand/performance campaign management experience on TV/Online Video & OOH in the US market (Other branding channels like Radio is a big plus).
• Experience in digital marketing channels is a plus : paid social, display, programmatic & CTV, influencer marketing
• Agency and/or client experience, working & developing holistic branding campaigns
• Have good self-organisation skills and are able to work independently
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions, so affinity for working with data is an absolute must
• Experience in the travel industry is a strong plus.
• You are a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. An additional European language is a plus.

The role
Our ambition is to become the market leader in the Americas. For that we are looking for an outstanding commercial leader to scale our Americas supply strategy. This position reports directly to the company’s co-founder & COO and is based in NYC.
You Will
• Overall responsibility for supply in the Americas including P&L for the US sales & supply organization
• Directly responsible for generating hundreds of millions incremental GMV in the next few years as we become the market leader in a $200bn+ industry
• Generate new revenue and expand GetYourGuide's supply coverage by acquiring new suppliers via best-in-class sales execution in North and South America
• Raise the commercial performance of existing supply partners and create strategic supply advantages including exclusive terms through key account management

• Co-create and roll out our B2B brand & comms strategy in your region

Your responsibilities
• Build GYG’s B2B SaaS Technology presence in the US
• Own your markets and its key performance metrics including:
• New customers signed and activated
• Transacted GMV on our platform
• Contracted Net Revenue for GYG
• Responsible for the entire sales funnel from start to end: from initial contact to first demo, negotiating commercial and operational terms, closing the deal and supporting the implementation of the solution together with our customer success team
• Be an ambassador for the brand through involvement and presence in partner meetings, trade shows, conferences, digital events etc. Travel expectation is about 25%.
• Keep up with, and be the contact person for your market landscape - including new trends and competition

Responsibilities:
• Tailor global processes to best-in-class practices for the Americas;
• Work closely with the teams in New York and San Francisco and the Employer Brand team in Berlin to significantly grow our brand presence in those markets;
• Own the entire recruitment process, from creating the job description to the final offer:
• Partner with hiring managers and teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing solutions
• Manage the whole recruiting funnel, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending offers
• Leverage existing talent acquisition channels and explore new sourcing opportunities
• Build and maintain a significant network of great prospects through market research and continuous relationship management
• Ensure candidates have the best recruiting experience possible by optimizing processes and suggesting improvements according to candidates’ feedback
• Provide informed reports on the progress of your work to hiring managers
• Maintain productive relationships with recruiting agencies
• Contribute to extra projects by sharing and implementing your creative ideas
Your profile:
• Minimum 5 years recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong track record of hiring great talent for business areas
