We need an engineering leader experienced in building apps that can scale. You will work with a fast paced startup building a team, solving large technical challenges, and building exciting features that scale. MUST BE LOCATED IN THE US, and available to start immediately. Ideal candidate will work as a contractor for 2-3 months, then come on full time if it's a good fit.
Experience / Responsibilities
• Responsible for the entire lifecycle of the Gleam dating app
• Collaborate with cross functional team to define and design the app features
• Responsible for providing prototypes and proofs of concepts
• Integrate application with backend tools such as cloud, APIs and push notifications
• Responsible to help maintain code quality, organization and automation
• Collaborate with CEO and growth team to focus on optimizing the app for user retention
Qualifications
• Experience with building and maintaining iOS apps written in Swift
• Experience working with the Firebase platform (Firestore/Auth/Messaging/Storage)
• Experience leading teams of engineers
