Responsibilities
• Lead, support, and mentor a team of talented software engineers through concurrent key software projects
• Engage key internal stakeholders to define future projects and understand automation gaps
• Establish KPI’s and metrics to track the team’s performance
• Research, architect, implement, deploy, and manage internal software applications
• Develop a strategic roadmap for building and managing internal applications that solve challenges and improves operational efficiency
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems, or issues
• Develop Ci/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab, Docker, and our internal Kubernetes cluster
• Take ownership of critical software projects and successfully deliver results
• Enabling a positive and engaging team environment
Qualifications
Excellent Python or C++ programming capabilities
· Well versed in Object Oriented Design (OOD), programming and design patterns
· Experience in SCRUM (Agile) development process
· Extensive experience in the full life cycle of the software design process including requirement analysis, design, prototyping, coding, documentation, implementation, and maintenance
· Strong version control skills utilizing GIT
· Strong familiarity with the use of IDEs
· Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
· Strong understanding of algorithms and data-structures
· Familiarity with Kubernetes
· Exposure to Docker and containers
Personal Skills:
· Self-motivated, independent, proactive, detail oriented, and responsible team-player
· Excellent analytical skills
· Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
· Passion for innovation and emerging technologies
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to handle multiple priorities
· Driven leader with excellent engineering management skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Develop and mentor software engineers
Desired experiences:
· QT or similar U/I development
· Good understanding of electromagnetics or Physics
· Performed unit testing in past development projects
· Familiarity with SQL

Education
