Brightline Trains, a sub-organization of Fortress Investment Group, is seeking a Manager, Benefits & Payroll to design and administer teammates' benefits programs, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance. The role plays a crucial part in creating an accurate and user-friendly experience for teammates.
Responsibilities...
• Benefits Administration: Responsible for developing, communicating, implementing, and administering benefits programs including health, wellness, and 401k administration; Maintain, update, and enhance HRIS benefits module.
• Leave Administration: Oversees administration of all leave-of-absence requests ensuring streamlined processes; Handle STD, LTD, FMLA/ADA/USERRA.
• Compliance: Ensure processes meet company, state, and federal regulations across payroll, benefits, and leave administration; Responsible for ERISA, COBRA, FMLA/ADA/USERRA 5500s, Health Care Reform.
• Payroll: Oversee end-to-end payroll processes and reporting for three business entities.
• Analysis: Conduct necessary analysis to measure performance and compliance for Brightline programs.
Skills
• A minimum of seven years of benefit management/payroll management experience in a corporate environment
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of benefits and HRIS programs
• Significant experience with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and emerging regulatory issues
• Experience with overseeing US payroll tax and reporting
• Advanced MS Excel skills, such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, advanced charting, data validation and manipulation, etc.
• Possesses an employee customer-centric and problem-solving mindset
• Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels
• Ability to work cross-functionally, especially with HR team, payroll, and finance
• Ability to work onsite in either Orlando & Downtown Miami minimum 3 days per week
