What You Bring
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a startup, ideally a part of a full cycle inside-sales team in a SaaS and/or mobile software company
• SaaS Sales background related to industries such as construction, fleet management, project management

Our Director, Marketing Strategy & Operations is a strategic marketing leader with an execution-oriented, results-driven mindset -- you're someone who is focused on creating best in class, data-driven, and innovative operational excellence in marketing. In conjunction with the SVP, Marketing, you will focus on the strategic development, continuous improvement, and ongoing success of GoCanvas's operational initiatives to enhance our customer experience throughout the entire customer journey and customer lifecycle. Your Most Important Initiatives Define our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive the process of building precision reporting and dashboards that give full visibility on the overall marketing performance (marketing contribution to pipeline, ROI, and customer acquisition costs) to leadership. Partner with the SVP, Marketing in setting priorities and defining and articulating the marketing strategy from a go-to-market & adoption perspective. Routinely re-evaluate strategic assumptions, data and processes, and proactively identify new opportunities to excel or differentiate. Craft detailed and actionable recommendations. Establish the annual marketing planning and budgeting process, ensuring marketing's goals and go-to-market strategy are aligned with overall company objectives and key initiatives Work with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to jointly develop 'bottoms up' forecasting to understand our Budget & Forecast sensitivity in any given financial period. Build a Marketing Operations function that drives performance and visibility (i.e. lead scoring, campaign execution and tracking, budget to pipeline and revenue, database health, etc.) through people, repeatable process improvement and strengthened capabilities across our marketing technology environment. Serve as a key point of contact between employees at all levels of the organization to build out a unified enterprise sales and marketing data environment regarding team health, project updates and strategic planning Lead a cross-functional team to build a world-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ecosystem using technology, team offsites, annual goal setting & monthly metrics review meetings to drive improvement across our entire customer journey. Partner closely with Marketing and Sales stakeholders to ensure that Sales and Marketing processes facilitate insights and end-to-end visibility. Partner with Product Marketing to develop customer-facing positioning, including value propositions, competitive differentiation, and consumption models; own the customer reference program.
