Our management team consists of the Director of Agronomy, Golf Course Superintendent, two Senior Assistant Superintendents and two Second Assistant Superintendents. We utilize section management where each AIT will report directly to a Senior Assistant, and will be given various responsibilities within their section of the golf course.

We have a strong history of promoting from within and all management roles listed above have been filled by former AIT's at Victoria National.

VNGC is also one of six exclusive clubs in the Dormie Network. This provides the opportunity to volunteer at a wide range of high end clubs and learn different maintenance and cultural practices.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a part-time staff member to enhance the golf experience for the membership and their guests. This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Golf Operation with a primary focus on providing exceptional service to the membership. The Shuttle Driver is a part-time, seasonal employee who will work 15-30 hours a week. The purpose of this position is to shuttle players between specific areas of the golf course, decreasing the travel time between holes. The shuttle driver position is an important touch point with members and guests, and positive interaction with them will increase their enjoyment.

HOURS/DAYS

The anticipated schedule is a 2 or 3-day work week averaging 20 hours a week. Ability to work weekends are not necessary to this position, however, it is beneficial. The Shuttle Driver typically begins at 9 a.m. and finishes their shift after all groups have been transported and accounted for.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:

· Greet all members and guests with a smile and offer them assistance.

· Day-to-day operation of the golf course shuttle.

· Assist the Outside Operation with arranging golf carts for players to return to the clubhouse.

· Communicate information to fellow team members.

· Responsible for the cleanliness of the golf course shuttle.

· Assist with monitoring pace of play as directed by Professional Staff.

· Report to work as assigned neatly dressed and in accordance with Club uniform, grooming and dress policies.

· Assist Outside Operations staff when needed, which involves cart fleet management, practice facility oversight, and member relations.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION

· $12.00 an Hour
