Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus

Accountabilities
• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Job Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old to join the team. Leadership skills required. 2 years of retail management experience is necessary. The Store Manager role is a salaried position scheduled at least 40 hours per week and requires open availability.

Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The Street Maintenance Crew Leader is a working supervisor of a small crew consisting of 1-2 subordinates. This employee will be responsible for providing construction and maintenance activities including, but not limited to: repair of utility cuts, pavement failures, and potholes for public streets and other city property. The position reports to the Section Supervisor and is accountable for the planning, organizing, and reporting of all assigned projects as well as coordinating the crew's activities in support of the overall Field Operations work plan using independent judgment and discretion in carrying out operations. The City of Greensboro pays employees semi-monthly and the position is assigned to a 40-hour work schedule, which is typically Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch. The schedule is subject to change during a holiday week or for emergency service which may require working a flexible schedule with little or no notice and may include weekends, nights, or holidays. This position will be assigned to the snow and ice removal program and will be subject to working 12-hour shifts during winter events. Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:

This is an entry-level position focusing on work related to specific City code (including the LDO) management or long-range planning tasks. This position requires a background in planning or related field and a basic understanding of the regulatory process, City codes, the process of creating community plans, and/or municipal operations. Persons in this position must have good communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work comfortably with and provide quality customer service to the public, fellow staff members, and zoning applicants. Persons in this position will commonly address specific tasks requiring minimal code interpretation or breadth of experience.

Additional duties/responsibilities include:
• Assist with plan intake and distribution for residential single-family, two-family, multi-family, and non-residential development proposals for Technical Review Committee review.
• Assist with plan review and processing permit requests and plans submitted to the Technical Review Committee and Development Services; process approved plans for long-term record keeping.
• Conduct review and approval of permits related to signs, ABC, DMV, group living and zoning verification/compliance letters.
• Assist with data collection for planning and annexation studies.
• Assist with public meetings.
• Understand theoretical and technical aspects of planning.
• Understand local government operations.
• Provide good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Conduct research and analysis for code changes.

The Greensboro Procter & Gamble Plant operates 7-days per week. We rely on local talent and relocation is generally not paid. Technicians work any day of the week, including weekends. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. The hours of work vary from 8 to 12 hours per day. Shift rotations vary from working a single straight shift to working two or three rotating shifts. Technicians are expected to be willing to rotate and to work any shift. Additional days could be required to be worked as overtime.

Responsible to participate on a team to pack a product received from a making area (for example liquid, powder, capsules, pills) that gets labeled and packaged, or a finished product item (for example: brush, floss, paste, refills, razors) that gets packaged, manually or with the assistance of a machine or robot. Acts as a System Owner or Equipment Owner for the area in which they operate. Operates and maintains the equipment in their area.

Qualifications
• 18 years of age or older
• Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
• Willing to work rotating shifts

Starting Hourly Rate - $20.21 per hour .

(Once you begin to rotate shifts, your hourly rate will increase between the range of $20.96 - $21.33, depending on the work schedule you are assigned.)
