We are looking to hire a Production Manager to join our team at Grovemade. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing all in house production. You will oversee a small team of makers in our Portland, OR workshop and be responsible for hitting production goals set by the Supply Chain Manager. This role requires knowledge of manufacturing and experience with a woodshop... setting, along with the ability to manage people. Knowledge and experience with CNC Mills and woodshop tools is a must. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and work alongside various other departments within the company.

Essential Tasks:
• Weekly Production planning
• Making products and working in production
• Daily morale checks
• Monthly check ins with team members
• Training production team members
• Team building events
• Lead morning and afternoon huddles
• Machine, Tool and Workspace Maintenance
• Space management
• Onboarding & Offboarding Production Team Members as needed
• Safety Management
• Payroll Approvals

Manufacturing knowledge, People Management Skills; Knowledge of machinery and aptitude to improve and fix things; Open to feedback; Attention to detail; Time management; Adaptability; Flexibility

Position Type

This is a full time, salaried position. Hours are Monday through Friday and can range from 7:00am to 5:00pm. (Typically 7:30am to 4:30pm) Approximately 40 hrs / week. Compensation is DOE within the range of $50,000 - $60,000 per year with the opportunity to increase with skill level. This is an in person position that will require you to be present at our manufacturing facility in North Portland.
