In this role you can expect to...
• Leverage people management experience to coach and consult current people managers across the company
• Own company-wide programming for the people manager audience; overseeing design, develop, and delivery of scaled, high quality People Manager enablement and learning experiences
• Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders and partner with an assigned group of People Business Partners to consult on training/development initiatives and learning strategy development and deployment
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and programs; develop success criteria, and assess reports/data to make recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with the Talent Development team to deliver on our annual and long-term talent development strategy, including supporting performance management and talent planning processes
• Support the evolution of people practices (ie internal movement guidelines, compensation and leveling approach for internal moves) to ensure all the inputs to career experience work cohesively

• Background in human resources and understanding of the other HR functions outside of talent development, to enable collaboration and cohesive frameworks that work across COEs
• Experience with talent management practices
• Exceptional program management skills, including experience with large scale change management and skill development
• A creative and open-minded approach to development that takes into account our structure as a remote-oriented company (ie. operating in a virtual environment)
• A demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodology, and learning assessment strategies
• Creative and effective design of communications assets, to influence stakeholders from executive audiences through to individual contributors
• Excellent partnering, consulting, and collaboration skills

We are looking for a Chief of Staff for a key role in the Office of the CEO in our San Francisco office. In this role you can expect to...

Drive all aspects of CEO engagement with the client base:
• Drive selection of key customers / prospects for CEO engagement in partnership with Sales; ensure an analytical approach to selection including ongoing refinement of criteria.
• Optimize the CEO's schedule around 300 client meetings per year. Take into consideration other CEO commitments and travel to drive efficiency.
• Partner with Sales to ensure appropriate contacts at client / prospect are available.
• Work with EA to ensure all logistics are addressed accurately.
• Own preparation for client meetings, including company information, key players, dynamics in the account, HashiCorp relationship, any issues, etc. Access and integrate information from the Sales team, internal systems, public information, and other sources.

Oversee CEO engagement with external ecosystem partners:
• Own selection of key Partners for CEO engagement.
• Determine timing of Partner meetings with CEO and ensure EA executes.
• Responsible for preparation for Partner meetings including information on the company, key players, trends, interaction with HashiCorp.
• Document outcomes of meetings and integrate into broader learnings and share within the organization as necessary.

Drive Leadership Team strategic meetings and offsites:
• Develop cadence for executive team meetings.
• Work with the CEO and leadership team to set an agenda for each meeting.
• Partner with the leadership team to develop materials for meetings.
• Track follow ups and open items from meetings to ensure closure.

Oversee Board of Directors Engagement:
• Understand overall Board agenda and ensure materials are prepared by teams across the organization
• Support CEO in all aspects of preparation for Board Meetings
• Facilitate key interactions with individual Board members between meetings

The Army Account Manager is an outside sales position responsible for developing, managing and closing business within agencies that currently have HashiCorp enterprise products in use.
