Who You Are

As the SEO & Content Marketing Manager, you should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and be able to plan, implement, and manage our overall SEO strategy across different applications and audiences. You will be responsible for creating and editing content to increase organic traffic to our website, blog, and social media channels. You are both analytical and creative and will drive actionable content strategies that are both engaging and grounded in data. You will help to grow our inbound marketing funnel through the creation, editing and dissemination of multimedia content across all platforms.

What You’ll Do:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices, execute day-to-day tactical website updates, and drive organic growth
• Highly creative with experience in creating content that engages prospects and converts website visitors to leads
• Manage the Heartland blog editorial calendar - must have strong writing skills and solid ability to create and edit blog content
• Be an expert user of web analytics tools and concepts, particularly Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Execute on day-to-day search initiatives, keyword research, content gap analysis, optimization of existing content, and competitor analysis
• Capitalize on industry events, trends, and news topics to maximize search traffic
• Contribute to digital advertising channels to drive more inbound traffic to our website and digital content
• Work with other Marketing team members to coordinate the creation of new marketing assets to support digital and advertising campaigns
• Develop testing process to help us optimize our web content for better conversion rates
• Analyze website/blog lead data to find ways to better segment our audiences for future content creation and marketing campaigns
• Strong project management and organization skills, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple projects
• Experience creating content for the K-12 industry a plus (though not required)

What You’ve Accomplished
• 4+ years of SEO and content experience
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
• Proficiency with marketing automation software, specifically Hubspot
• Strong marketing acumen with the ability to collaborate with sales, product management, customer service to support a broad technology portfolio.
• Knowledge of journey mapping, website optimization, database management, lead generation, email marketing, paid media, social media, paid search, customer segmentation, automation, and search engine optimization
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Google Workspace
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related area (not required, but a plus)
• Compelling communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• High-energy, a positive attitude, and a team player are essential for success

Who You Are

As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll help build and execute marketing campaigns that drive meaningful and quantifiable business impact across our target audience segments, with a focus on doubling our active user accounts on the MySchoolBucks platform. You will work with VP, Payments, Data Analytics, Marketing, Brand & Creative team members to define the strategy and bring campaigns from idea to execution in fast, short cycles to reach our user and revenue growth goals.

What You’ll Do
• Manage B2C marketing programs, email, in-app messaging, web, and social media (strategy and approach)
• Understand our users deeply to develop customer segments and personas based on detailed analytics & insights
• Own our Consumer Engagement Platform and build campaigns and engagement strategies that build our brand and grow our revenue
• Develop campaigns that deliver personalized and timely content based on the stage of their journey, rapidly testing and learning across the lifecycle, and sharing findings with stakeholders and team members
• Develop new triggered communications, improve current ongoing campaigns, and developing/maintaining a content calendar for batch sends throughout the year
• Define an approach for additional communications channels, including push notifications
• Engage our school district partners throughout the school year to serve as a distribution channel to drive user growth and engagement
• Work with our marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue and user growth
• Understand our growth models, strategies, and tactics, including how to optimize activation, engagement, and retention sequences
• Leverage data and user insights to create informative, delightful communication journeys that create a great user experience

What You’ve Accomplished:
• At least 4 years of growth marketing experience at B2B2C or B2C companies, including building out lifecycle and engagement marketing campaigns
• You have experience across owned channels such as email, push, and in-app notifications
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• You have strong quantitative skills and are comfortable developing/refining strategies by exploring data.
• You have a strong understanding of engagement, retention, and campaign success metrics
• You have experience with copywriting and brand-building
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have strong project management skills, and can work collaboratively across teams.
• You have strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• You are up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Overview:

The Territory Manager is the catalyst behind Heartland’s success as an organization. As a consultative sales professional, the Territory Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects. Sales Executives set appointments with business owners to educate them about Heartland’s... Payroll/HR/HCM solution(s).
