We’re looking for an amazing Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. The BI Report Developer is a member of the Crew Management Reporting, Analytics and Solutions Team within the Crew Operations organization and is responsible for fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests and for creating operational reports to support the delivery of information to our core clients. This position spends a majority of their time in hands-on, task-oriented, report development referencing report requirements documentation. This position meets frequently with business owners to discuss needs and effectively communicate technical solutions at a business level.

Responsibilities
• Translates business requirements into technical specifications
• Works collaboratively to design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions (ad-hoc reports, scorecards, dashboards, automated reports, and other visualizations) using a variety of reporting platforms, including SQL, PowerBI, and Excel
• Develops high-level subject matter expertise for data modelling, data sourcing, data quality, and BI delivery solutions
• Partners in requirements gathering from non-technical business personnel
• Performs testing and troubleshooting
• Works to improve the BI development lifecycle
• Approaches challenges with a can-do spirit, analytical mind, and problem-solving skills
Requirements
• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 5 years’ experience with SQL, PowerBI, and Excel. Tableau and SSRS experience are a nice to haves, but not required
• 5 years Business Analysis experience
• Advanced knowledge of SQL queries and PowerBI. Intermediate-level competency with Excel. Experience with SharePoint integrations is a plus, but not required
• Expertise in the design, development, and formatting of tabular reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards with drilldown capability. With an emphasis on delivering polished and formatted reports
• Detail-oriented thinker exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues
• Familiarity with iterative development and Agile Scrum practices
• Experience with supporting testing phases with users
• Experience with version control, preferably BitBucket
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
• Prior experience with data governance, auditing
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote

• Adhere to department Quality Assurance guidelines for customer contacts and utilizes feedback to improve performance and customer experience.

Requirements
• 1 year of experience in positions in the area of customer service and/or sales.
• Experience in the travel and hospitality industry preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume call center is plus.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with customers, employees, and management.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated since you will be working from home.
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of computerized reservations systems with the ability to trouble shoot issues independently from home.
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Compensation
The hourly rate of pay will be $15.00. This position is considered non-exempt in accordance with the Department of labor and Fair Labor Standards Act. Paydays are every other week with 26 pay periods per annum. An annual schedule of pay periods is provided on the company intranet for reference. New associates with less than three (3) full months of service in the fiscal year for which performance is being measured are not eligible for a merit increase, and the first merit adjustment is deferred to the following year.
After the training period, you will be eligible to participate in the Holland America Line Reservation Incentive Plan associated with this position. More details about the plan will be provided at a later date.
Work Shifts
After training, your assigned work shift will be 10:30am -7:00pm (your local time) weekdays. This may vary based on company needs. Shift changes are awarded based on your seniority and work performance. Sales Agents will be scheduled to work closing shifts Monday through Friday with quarterly weekend signups including 6 weekend days per quarter.

If you are selected as a Sales Agent, Holland America Line will provide you with work equipment. The company will extend to you a monthly contact center adjustment of $50.00 to supplement your residential internet cost for business purposes. In order for your residential internet to support our business model, your residential internet must meet the following requirements:
• Must have high-speed, non-satellite, non-dial-up internet, no cellular internet providers.
• Must meet the required minimum download and upload speeds of 50 MPS down and 6 MPS Up
• Must not have a data cap
• Must have computer hard-wired to the modem, Wi-Fi is not currently compatible with phone system.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years related revenue management experience preferred
• Familiarity with cruise revenue management concepts and/or prior revenue management experience, especially in the travel industry
• Knowledge of the cruise industry business environment including marketing, sales and operations
• Strong analytical, communication & organizational skills essential
• Ability to analyze data, make decisions and be accountable for bottom-line performance
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of database and report writing tools

• Creative Development
• Proven experience producing HTML5 display advertising banners. This includes knowledge of the feature set used to design the creative variations to ensure ads can be distributed in different browsers and across the entire Google Display Network (including mobile).
• Develops new/custom designs for non-standard communications projects, consistent with Cunard brand guidelines including; program logos, and signage.
• Assesses and performs revisions and corrections throughout the production process, requesting clarification as needed
• Ensures adherence to brand positioning, messaging strategies, and graphic standards guidelines on all projects, including strategic image selection to align with the promoted product and audience
• Project Management and File Delivery

• Liaise effectively with the project lead and/or supervisor impacting the projects

Requirements

• Proficiency with the development of electronic communications and HTML required; exposure to webpage design a plus.

• Working knowledge of InDesign, QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is required
• Solid experience in building HTML5 standard and dynamic email templates
