This engineering role is responsible for technical decisions in researching, developing, and applying new CASE and Energy solutions in the market, especially in EV Charging (home & public), Vehicle Grid Integration and Energy Management Service domains working with business unit leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The role informs and is accountable for the technical competence of the strategies that are developed. This position is tasked with the development and daily execution of a New Energy Business and EV Charging Initiatives to provide new revenue streams to AHM and new value to our vehicle customer through the use of intelligent charging (V1G), discharging (V2G or Vehicle-to-Grid) and charging UX of electric vehicles in support of Honda’s 2030 Vision (Mobility, Robotics, and Energy).

Focusing on future energy business, as well as regulatory compliance supporting the operation and providing new value to the Customer, the Dealer, and AHM , the associate leads and supports tasked plans, executes, and reports on all planning and business aspects of the energy business. Executing on responsibility is a mandatory requirement to adhere to AHM’s compliance requirements and manage the sustainability of the businesses. This requires frequent coordination and review of wide-ranging information, along with regular communication with external business partners providers, Honda Motor (Japan), Product Planning, Service, Quality, Sales, Finance, HNA Law, and other pertinent business units

Responsibilities include:
• Support the Project leader to conduct research for new energy business opportunities including extensive market research, service provider research, energy marketplace and conducting RFQ/P/I. This includes valuation of future business and operational and sustainable business models. The plan must include profit/loss analysis, go-to-market plans and initial launch operations to ensure stable operation
• Support the proposal development and obtain approval of a financially sustainable business model. This includes financial and term negotiation and legal agreement execution with selected vendors and service providers. Must propose for final executive approval in a time-sensitive market launch to maximize operational profit
• Support the administration and implementations of approved business lines for successful launch. Must ensure customer facing experience is best-in-class, as well as ensuring quick resolution of launch issues. Create an operational acceptance criteria to push the assigned projects into a standardized, normal business operation for AHM
• Lead administration of creating, updating and maintaining required documentation for clear operation by the operation team. Required documentation must clear necessary regulatory, compliance clearances, as well as legal approval

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
• Minimum 3 years experience related automotive IT or connected service development, Ideally in planning, telematics or engineering
• Experience with FERC, PUCS, CEC or related regulatory agencies in policy and/or technical regulation areas
• Minimum 3 years experience leading a project team
• Experience with complex IT project (APP, Server, Partner Development)

About this Position:

The Warranty Operations Department receives, validates and authorizes payment for warranty claims from AHM Acura and Honda dealers. The department is also responsible for billing the entities responsible for paying those claims. All warranty support related to claim payment and billing is the responsibility of the department including warranty training. The Sr. Warranty Analyst Role supports Honda and Acura dealers, distributors, and Field Personnel with all inquiries and requests related to warranty claim activities, payments and errors, debit requests, and various other warranty-related requests, including warranty cancelation/reinstatement, VIN addition, claim goodwill authorization, in-service date change, labor rate change requests, warranty claim overrides, etc. This position is also responsible for billing factories and suppliers responsible for paying those claims. About this Position:

Parts & Service Field Operations group provides dealer consulting and support to improve the Service customer experience and maintain dealer profitability. The District Parts & Service Manager (DPSM) is the liaison between American Honda Motor Co., Inc (AHM) and Honda/Acura dealerships. About this Position:

The Tactical Procurement Specialist will utilize a pro-active approach (sometimes reactive approach) to manage mid-range sourcing events (between $25k - $100K) for materials, supplies and services. About this Position:

Responsible for leading the Division in Engagement, Budget, and Environmental areas and establishing improvement themes to achieve SQCDM objectives, while additionally providing administrative support.

Required Experience:

Required Education:
