This is a school-based position devoted to connecting students to wraparound services.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Works with the Manager, Wraparound Services to perform campus and community needs assessment, find service providers, and troubleshoot challenges.
2. Engages families and school staff to better understand student needs, develops and manages partnerships with local service providers, and participates in and learning from resource specialist community.
3. Works with district, city, school, and the community to facilitate empowering events.
4. Participates in professional development opportunities centered on development of wraparound directors to identify additional funding requirements.
5. Coordinates student needs assessment and provider selection. Supports school administration in making data-driven program decisions. Gathers input from community leaders during decision- making process. Collect and use needs and service provider data throughout wraparound program and share with district leaders.
6. Supports school administration in making data-driven program decisions based on student data, (e.g., attendance, behavior, and coursework.)
7. Determines major needs of overall school community.
8. Identifies gaps in service provider database.
9. Works directly with individual students in need and connects them with service providers.
10. Follows up with students for feedback on provided services.
11. Builds positive relationships and trust with principals, teaching staff, students, service providers, community leaders, and other resource coordinators

Provides technology expertise and innovative direction to HISD central office departments, to design and implement education technology systems that support 21st century education, including but not limited to new K12 technology issues related to data processes and reporting, privacy and safety, technology standards, accessibility and systems integration. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducts research and leads the implementation of K12 technology integration and accessibility standards
• Maintains communication with regional and national leaders in K-12 education and performs literature reviews to identify current effective education technology systems design, including the review and identification of software or application solutions, based on instructional systems design and 21st century principles in collaboration with the HSD Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
• Performs front-end analyses and reviews K-12 innovative practices to provide “master design” technology systems solutions via vendor selection processes, RFP, including selection and integration of platforms, applications and resources, in collaboration with other IT and Central Office departments.
• Organizes and designs professional development opportunities (train-the trainer) for the district’s Instructional Technology specialists and other teacher development professionals and coaches, through the Education Technology Professional Learning Community (ET PLC) to support the implementation of new and emerging technologies, guarantee ongoing professional updates, and develop new knowledge and skills.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducts investigations of alleged employee misconduct by planning, scheduling and conducting interviews with complainants, witnesses, alleged perpetrators, and other involved parties.
• Provides assistance with testing impropriety investigations and submits completed investigation reports, with supporting documents, to the appropriate personnel.
• Develops official investigative reports based on relevant documents, evidence collected, and interviews. Reviews official reports for grammar, clarity, conciseness, and structure, and submits final reports to the appropriate administrative personnel.
• Reviews and analyzes all interviews, documents, and evidence as they pertain to the allegations, and renders findings supported by the evidence and facts of the investigation.
• Serves as a District Liaison and assists, cooperates, and exchanges information with the district police department, the city police department, other law enforcement agencies, risk management, children’s protective services (CPS), and the county children’s assessment center while conducting investigations involving students and school district personnel. Provides daily assistance to CPS, law enforcement, and prosecutors in locating child victims, witnesses, and perpetrators to criminal complainants.
• Prepares and provides sufficient case documentation (including forms and narratives) related to specific tasks performed to provide a complete and accurate case record, including legal documentation or testifying in hearings for all necessary cases.
• Responds to subpoena requests and provides evidence and testifies under oath in judicial and school district administrative hearings with regards to misconduct of school district personnel.
• Facilitates employee reassignments pending investigation by assisting district administrators with the reassignment process, documentation creation, notification, and tracking.
• Administers investigation trainings to first year principals.
