The Market Intelligence Analyst Sr. works collaboratively with other analysts to research, analyze, and outline insights that support the needs of executive leaders as they develop and implement the Commercial Bank strategy. This role will identify and collect appropriate competitor, market, economic, financial and/or operational data; analyze patterns and trends in data across Huntington’s Commercial competitors; synthesize the findings into presentations that convey insights and recommendations through storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and a mastery of details.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze data in financial statements, press releases and other sources to create and update comprehensive industry and competitor models including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections and trends, and market forces.
• Provide market and competitive insights through presentations and reports to the Executive Leadership Team, plus various internal management teams to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making and implementation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data sources, evaluating their credibility and potential utility, and leverage them across the company where appropriate.
• Use creative thinking and problem solving to research, analyze, and outline data-driven insights that identify trends among peers and the commercial banking industry.
• Leverage professional needs assessment (reference interviewing) as well as written and verbal communication skills to understand and deliver on the research and analysis needs of commercial leaders.
• Apply visualization techniques to internal and external data sources to communicate in a more effective manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of related experience in market or competitive research, financial analysis, investor relations, or a related

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with financial services, especially commercial banking
• High competency creating financial, statistical, and qualitative data analysis of markets and competitors.
• Strong articulator with the proven ability to present to senior management.
• Documented success in roles which demonstrate critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Job Description

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 – 5 years of Banking Experience
• Credit Training and/or experience, required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced sales and communication skills, required
• Experience lending in the Technology and Telecom sector is preferred

Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible for participation in Huntington’s annual incentives program. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

• Lead business requirements refinement with requestors and stakeholders.
• Lead technical design of solutions to meet business requirements for functional enhancements that are high to moderate complexity; ensure technical designs are supportable, efficient, and scalable.
• Create, test, produce artifacts/documentation, and manage various Archer GRC components in new and existing applications, including but not limited to: Application builder (core and on demand apps), Packaging, Reports, report objects, iViews, Back-end data structure, Archer application programming interfaces (APIs), Internal and external data feeds, Simple to complex calculations, Data driven events, Advanced workflow, etc.
• Advise business partners on user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation.
• Manage and support complex access provisioning.
• Resolve production support tickets (ex. access issues, data correction, break/fix, etc.), as needed, including performing root cause analysis.
• Support IT partners with changes and incident resolution.
• Be available after hours and on weekends for change implementation and on-call support, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
