Provide a markets-based suite of sales and trading solutions to Institutional, Corporate, and Retail clients. Offer a full spectrum of integrated capabilities to deliver leading market insight, risk management, and execution services to issuing and investor clients, including access to major global markets across asset classes, debt, foreign exchange, interest rate, credit, equity, securitization, and commodities. Provide competitive pricing to all clients, seeking out new opportunities with prospective clients.
Maximize profit while prudently minimizing the Bank's exposure and adhering to regulatory statutes. Operate as key member of the deal team with efforts to maximize sector penetration and returns. Institute cross-selling initiatives to increase Bank-wide ranking with clients. Utilize expertise in financial markets to cultivate relationships with new and existing clients and develop new client relationships. Manage a client book, overseeing the risk, profit and loss, and limits for the book.
Build positive client relations at all levels through deep and comprehensive understanding of client needs and alignment of the Bank's products and services. Anticipate changes in client needs and provides strategic and creative solutions. Recognize opportunities to cross-sell and to grow share of clients' wallet. Provide comprehensive account coverage and client development as well as actively prospect new clients to increase revenue in the assigned territory.
Maintain strong relationships with investors, understand their portfolio, and match the firms services and products to client needs. Liaise with sales, trading, and research teams to provide seamless client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for pricing, trading and market updates and providing clients with specific product information. Respond to inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community, determining acceptable solutions.
Contact customers to present available investment services and develop client prospects from among current customers, referral leads, and other sources. Develop and facilitate development of client-focused solutions based on financial expertise, organizational, technical, regulatory, and environmental client awareness. Distill market and internal data to negotiate solutions, terms, and conditions with clients and internal counterparts. Identify and deliver on opportunities to improve the client experience.
Oversee and ensure that all confirms on trades or sales are accurate and promptly delivered. Communicate transaction details to the brokerage community and custodians. Resolve settlement issues related to incorrect billing. Utilize strong market knowledge to provide comprehensive service to clients, develop new solutions, and construct compelling recommendations. Analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents to better serve client needs.
Develop marketing ideas and initiate transactions through appropriate presentation of financial data. Recommend business priorities, advise on resource requirements, and develop roadmap for strategic execution. Develop and leverage relationships across businesses, senior leaders, and clients to foster and support coordination, both within the Bank and externally with clients. Ensure alignment between stakeholders. Cultivate strong relationships with the research team to understand their industries and stock coverage.
Utilize analytical skills, including probability and statistical inference, and apply appropriate technical concepts to complete and lead consistent and reliable technical and financial reports and analyses to support client deliverables. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Develop an understanding of and proficiency in using all required systems and models. Support change management of varying scope and type, focusing on execution and sustainment activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus seven years of experience trading and financing with precious metals.
