The candidate will work as part of an integrated team at Robin's Air Force Base to support reprogramming of critical electronic warfare equipment, installed on Air Mobility Command (AMC) aircraft.

The candidate will create mission data files for various electronic warfare equipment such as the ALR-69A Radar Warning Receiver, in support of AMC operations, test, training and exercises, in support of AMC Directorate of Strategic Plans, Requirements, and Programs (A5/8).

Support the development of the ALR-69A mission data files (MDF) to include threat analysis, MDF design, MDF build, MDF verification and validation.

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.
• Three years minimum experience working as an engineer or relevant technical field.
• Three years minimum experience with Electronic Warfare in a technical capacity ideally with the Air Force.
• Strong written and oral communications capabilities.
• Experience with standard office productivity products, i.e. Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel.
• Secret Clearance required.

Desired qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.

The Associate Project Electrical Engineer is responsible for various tasks related to the electrical engineering scope and supporting construction and commissioning activities for utility-scale onshore wind, solar, and energy storage projects. The Associate Project Electrical Engineer will work closely with the project team and Electrical Engineering Manager to coordinate requirements... and deliverables with multiple internal and external stakeholders. In addition to having conceptual electrical engineering knowledge and effective communication skills, the successful candidate will be a proactive and curious learner and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
• Support the engineering activities and contribute to milestones associated with the electrical engineering scopes, which may include geotechnical engineering, collector substation and interconnect station physical arrangements, controls and protection, overhead and underground electrical lines (medium voltage to high voltage) and communications systems.
• Support engineering implementation, including cost estimating, project scheduling, permit integration into project plans, engineering document control, and other activities necessary during project engineering and construction.
• Effectively coordinate internal and external engineering resources, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Attend project meetings to discuss status, action items, challenges, and risks.
• Support the coordination of the multidisciplinary (engineering, land, permitting, development, etc.) review of detailed project drawing submittals.
• Support the procurement process for external engineering resources and major electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, breakers, etc).
• Support the development of EPC contractor bid packages and evaluate bids as part of the procurement process for electrical construction services.
• Ensure that environmental, health, and safety requirements, and cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.
• Assess the quality aspects of engineering, including compliance with design standards and accuracy of documentation, field analysis and reporting, and test data.
• Support collaborative analysis, special projects, and reviews of projects, studies, and best practices.
• Conduct engineering analysis to reach sound conclusions and recommendations relative to project performance and profitability.
• Promote a safety awareness culture.

Skills and Requirements

Experience / Education
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education; preference may be giving to candidates with relevant advanced degree(s)
• Engineer in Training certificate and field experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills
• Conceptual understanding of various electrical aspects of renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to function well as part of a team.
• Experience with electrical systems modeling and proficiency in project modeling software such as PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, ETAP and EasyPower.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, OPC, Visio, AutoCAD, and SAP.
