The incumbent in this position will be trained to be intimately knowledgeable of all aspects of assigned alliances, including their missions, goals, resources, governing documents, monthly financials, legal obligations, and membership demographics. With this knowledge, the role is expected to be able to monitor the health and robustness of all assigned entities; identify any and all challenges to the entity achieving its goals and/or supporting its mission; and help to formulate/share strategies to counter any weak areas for entity growth and advancement towards its goals.
The incumbent's performance is measured across several markers, including strong performance in the annual Program Satisfaction Survey, positive feedback from entity members and stakeholders, adherence to ISTO operational best practices and procedures, and the number of new opportunities identified and closed. The role reports to the Director of Alliance Operations.
This position works under minimal management supervision.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage all aspects relating to contracted support for multiple industry alliances
- Support the day-to-day operations of assigned alliances
- Manage the contracts and scopes of work for assigned groups
- Monitor fiscal reports from the Finance team for financial health of assigned alliances
- Support work groups, scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes and filing
- Support updates to alliance Bylaws, Membership Agreements and other alliance documents, as needed
- Interface with executive level Board members from industry from various countries and various industry sectors
- Support alliance meetings, if required.
- Work with the team to provides formation support to any newly created assigned alliances, project managing the development and/or deployment of logos, website, and membership collaboration systems and tools
- Identifies areas of synergy with IEEE and ISTO alliances and other entities
- Monitors and tracks time spent on alliance projects using a time tracking tool
- Travel minimal - up to 4 times/yr for one alliance
Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience related field Required
