IESE is looking to hire an Associate Director, Custom Programs for our New York Center. IESE opened its New York Center on 57th Street at 7th Avenue in 2010. The center features two (2) world-class classrooms, team rooms, meeting space and executive offices. IESE currently supports the leadership development of leading global FORTUNE 100 companies in finance, healthcare, hospitatlity, insurance, logistics, media, retail, and technology.

Main Responsibilities And Tasks

The main role of the Associate Director is to sell, design and deliver custom executive education solutions in a manner aligned to IESE’s mission. The role will entail establishing strategic relationships between IESE Custom programs, IESE faculty, and potential client partners and to support the custom programs development process from proactive sales through transformational journey design and implementation. Understanding the CEO agenda, strategic management challenges, the transformational needs of an organization and how to translate them into an impactful value add learning journey for top executives is critical for success. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must.

We are looking for a graduate with an excellent professional track record and preferable experience in executive development, management consulting, or organizational transformation.

As a professional within our Executive Education division, you will work in a motivated and fun international team of dedicated, experienced and talented professionals. We expect fluent English and full international mobility.

Tasks:
• Business development: to pro-actively present and sell strategic high impact Custom Programs to diverse organizations including multinational corporations, family businesses, professional associations, and non-profits by connecting with top executives in these sectors. This business development involves establishing a target organization plan considering the mission of IESE, strategic regions and faculty interest and expertise.
• Analyze and understand customer training needs and expectations: The Associate Director will collaborate with IESE Faculty and the client partner in the design of the transformational programs, adapting them to the needs and objectives defined by clients with a detailed focus on delivering against the CEO’s agenda and maximizing impact on participants and their company. This includes understanding the strategy and culture of the organization and designing a transformational program for leaders that is a catalyst for positive transformation and change.
• Program Implementation: Commitment to creating an impactful learning experience and care of all program participants. Supervision of the staff who will provide logistic support in the IESE Campus (rooms, training materials, schedules...) during related programs. Ongoing attention on content delivery and participant impact during implementation to make just in time design adjustments to guarantee maximum program impact. Scouting of facilities and set-up for international delivery locations is also a critical element.
• Partner Relationship Management: Exquisite relationship management with a boutique approach for all partners of custom programs is critical. These partners include corporate c-suite members, HR development counterparts, senior faculty and design and implementation partners (eg. other world-class universities, training and development providers, etc.).

Requirements:

Education And Experience
• Masters in Business or Education at a top ranking European or American school would be desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in business development is required.
• Experience in consulting or executive development including with international clients will be highly valued.
• Experience with learning methodologies and on-line learning implementation is needed.
• Language competence in Spanish will be valued.

Working dynamic
• Domestic and international travel will be required.
• Volatile working schedule – there are weeks and months of peak intense hours and travel as well as weeks and months of increased downtime.
• On occasion it is necessary to work on local holidays for international program implementation
