Participate and help lead in the editorial process. May be required to produce content/newscasts for news specials, and possibly field produce. Assign stories for associate producers and ENG staff with video production. Must be able to complete simple desktop editing and use templates to produce graphics. Utilizes a variety of storytelling techniques and tools to showcase stories in unique ways. Must have strong knowledge of social media and be able to incorporate and showcase content from multiple platforms into newscast. Have exceptional news judgment, strong writing and copy editing abilities. We are looking for a competitor who can collaborate with the staff to perform at the highest levels every day. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment under specific time constraints while demonstrating exceptional creativity. Must be self-motivated and work productively on a team. Will work closely with news management to continually evolve newscasts.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications. Minimum 2 years working in a major market newsroom as a producer or smaller market news manager. Weekends, holidays and varied hours required.

Job Summary/Description:
The Marketing Assistant position is primarily responsible for managing promotional copy including assignment of house numbers and data entry into the WideOrbit traffic system. The position is also responsible for the daily filling of the traffic logs as well as reviewing and responding to viewer calls. You must be attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work with others is a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft office, and other computer systems is necessary and WO Traffic or traffic experience is desired but not required. Hours are M-F, noon to 5:00 pm. This is a part-time position; 25 hours per week.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain with accuracy the promo and PSA database in WideOrbit Traffic. This includes filing, and purging of information in a timely fashion
• Confirm traffic instructions to various partners and departments as needed
• Accurately input advertiser promo instructions into the WideOrbit database
• Fill and proof traffic logs for finalization by the hub
• Retrieve, review and upload promos and PSA's for air, clip and upload ''Your Life Arizona'' content to digital

Job Summary/Description:
KPHO-KTVK has an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes in the television industry as a Master Control Operator.
Monitor proper and accurate broadcasting of all KTVK-KPHO broadcast channels. The opportunity will include (but not be limited to) the following:
1. Keep accurate transmitter and program logs.
2. Switch breaks and programming for over the air broadcast channels.
3. Check next days logs for missing material.
4. Dub commercials, promos and PSA’s for air.
5. Check quality of program feeds prior to airtime
6. Segment syndicated programming
7. Record satellite program feeds
8. And other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
– ADC automation experience a plus.
– Computer experience and willingness to learn are a must. Experience in master control is preferred, but training will be provided.
– Availability for weekend mornings, some weekdays a.m. and holidays.
– A successful applicant will be dependable, focused, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure with strict deadlines and have strong multi-tasking skills.

Job Summary/Description:
The person in this position is responsible to edit video for all media platforms and initiatives, including broadcast, web, digital, and social. This employee also acquires video feeds from satellite, microwave, backpacks, and other transmission sources and ensures field crews are ready for air, including making necessary IFB assignments. This person is responsible for routing and recording all feeds into our content management system. This employee is also responsible for participating in maintaining and retrieving assets in the content management and archive systems as well as helping to maintain field operations equipment. You will communicate effectively to prepare for and execute all team responsibilities. Works with the Chief News Editor to improve the overall editing workflow.
Acquires video feeds from satellite, microwave, backpacks, and other transmission sources from the field and ingests them into the content management system for potential future use. Communicates effectively between crews in the control room and the field to ensure crews are ready for air, including making the necessary IFB assignments.
Maintains the content management and archive systems. Retrieves assets in these systems as needed. Assists the Field Operations Manager in maintaining field operations equipment and related workflows.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism/Production, Communications, or equivalent experience preferred.
