They are looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join the Digital Division to work on their application decommission. The application is an old legacy platform that has since run high risk to stay alive, and is needing to be completely decommissioned and rebuilt. There are a... number of databases that are going to be moving from one table to another and some data that needs to get transferred into tables that make sense and structured the right way. As part of the eventual de-commissioning, the software engineers will be responsible for re-writing existing code, and also handle new coding to eventually replace this platform.
To be qualified for this position, this individual:
1. Candidate must have 8+ years of experience in .NET frameworks (ASP.NET & MVC), and recent years with .NET Core
2. Candidate must have experience with SQL Server databases, SSIS & API Development
3. Candidate must have experience with brand new development, from the ground up
• *Bonus is if the candidate has experience with Angular on the front-end*
This is opportunity is 100% remote.
This position is a 18 month contact, working W2.
