About the Learning Experience & Content Development department at Workverse
This department’s work revolves around creating a storyline based on real life workplace scenarios to enable young graduates to get an insight into the challenges of a modern workplace and how to tackle them before even starting their... career. The team develops, designs, and writes the creative components of a role play and simulation based learning experience with the end goal that learners can effectively master critical 21st century soft skills like creative problem solving, storytelling, and emotional intelligence.
We are looking for someone:
• For whom work is more than just a job to get done. Doing something meaningful and building something disruptive is equally important
• Who loves solving problems
• Who is excited about working at the intersection of emerging technologies, science and creativity
• Who is not afraid of taking decisions and creative risks
Responsibilities:
• Writing and developing the storyline for our 21st century workplace skills training platform.
• Creating engaging narratives and scenarios that introduce users to the various scenarios in which they will have to apply soft skills/workplace skills to achieve success and results at work.
• Working alongside curriculum designers and assessment specialists to incorporate the desired learning outcomes.
• Writing and editing any additional written materials required for the platform, such as tutorial scripts, dialogue, user feedback prompts, and other such collaterals.
• Conducting research on skill requirements and workplace trends to ensure the simulation is accurate and up-to-date.
Skills / Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in creative writing, prior corporate experience is a plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging, immersive, and compelling workplace scenarios.
• Strong research skills and ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, taking feedback and iterating on written materials as needed.
• Efficient with digital tools and Google G Suite.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Milanote is a plus.
• Some level of familiarity with video games would be an added asset.
