• Assisting with virtual event set up - testing data flows, platform usage, uploading delegates to platforms
• Sourcing and liaising with on-site registration companies for larger events through to implementation

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 USD. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill levels. About the Role

A vital, front-line position tasked with developing expertise and understanding of global agriculture markets with specific focus on either a primary geography or a main commodity. The Economist, Tissue develops and contributes to regular tissue forecast publications that inform and guide executives with invaluable data and insights. About the Position

The Deal is looking for an enterprising reporter to cover M&A and private equity in the energy and industrials sectors with a keen eye toward technology’s impact on businesses within those fields. The role will sit within a team of reporters based in our New York office and be part of a group of more than two dozen journalists, analysts and researchers world-wide. The reporter will be focused on deals within traditional and alternative energy, commodity and specialty materials, transportation and logistics, as well as business services, particularly those deals involving disruptive technology.

The ideal applicant has basic knowledge of the financial markets and the key players in the world of dealmaking. This reporter will be expected to produce a mix of daily news and feature stories and show the ability to develop sources for future breaking news. This reporter will cover companies involved in the production of fossil fuels and green energy, makers and distributors of advanced materials, and providers of specialized services to various businesses, as well as the investors behind those companies. This role will report to a senior editor and work closely with colleagues across the newsroom.

Responsibilities/Opportunities
• Break pre-M&A news in the energy and industrials sectors with strong sourcing and news judgment.
• Produce 1 to 2 articles per day including daily news, features and enterprise stories.
• Cultivate a strong network of sources spanning investment bankers, private equity professionals, institutional investors and others involved in dealmaking.
• Develop strong tone and perspective within given industry focus through exclusive, analytical and idea generative content.
• Appearances and on-camera work in video, podcasts, webcasts and conferences.

About the role

The Strategic Account Manager role is responsible for organic growth of existing account with an average order value between £10,000 and £100,000. The role is responsible for between 80-100 accounts each so a balanced approach to increasing spend and reducing churn in needed to be successful. The role doesn’t contain any new business but is expected to deliver growth on the existing book through effective data licencing, cross-selling and up-selling.

The Group Event Operations function is a new shared central which provides operations, customer service and procurement expertise to the event businesses in FPS and Asset Management. We have created the Group Event Operations function to ensure excellence in event delivery, to drive efficiency and share best practice across our 300 events that run globally each year across the world.

JOB PURPOSE

This role of Operations Coordinator sits within Information Management Network (IMN), within the Group Events Operations Function. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistical needs of different events predominately across the US. This will entail the handling of speaker and sponsor communications, processing administrative and customer service needs, ordering supplies and signage, and managing the registration desk on site.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Compile relevant information for clients to include, but not limited to, clear instructions on submitting required materials to us, access times on the day of the event and any specific information related to contracts
• Work closely with the Sales team to create the exhibition floorplan and monitor this regularly to ensure correct allocations of exhibition stands
• Closely monitor client contracts in liaison with the Sales manager and ensure all contracted items are delivered
• Upload agendas, sponsored logos, sponsor descriptions, speaker bios and headshots to websites and systems
• Setup the sponsor deliverable portal for your events
• Track sponsorship information-exhibits, registration passes, sponsored items, etc.
• Track speaker information-headshots/bio, panel prep calls, etc.
• Create and project manage the design and print of signage and other with the design team
• Order and ship all conference materials
• Process invoices and expenses
• At time manage the registration desk and troubleshoot problems on site
• Build and test virtual event platforms and demo to client’s
