The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the drive to accurately and critically analyze the strengths and weaknesses of IPVM’s Research... Service. This is not a customer support or sales position.

This individual will be assertive and proactive in guiding customers to research that addresses their organization’s needs and giving proper context. Your responsibilities will be to identify customer goals of Research Service post sale, manage custom research processes from customer requests, determine things that specific research customers found most valuable, identify what products customers will be making decisions on in the next 12 months, and understand what customers need beyond what they are asking.

IPVM's company culture is focused on testing and research. IPVM does not have a sales and marketing culture where the focus is on having fun and closing deals. Instead, IPVM has a technology and engineering culture, where we are serious and dedicated to providing accurate and detailed information about the security industry through research, testing, and analysis.

Role Responsibilities:
• Proactive outreach to existing customers of IPVM Research Service over email and set up phone calls to discover unmet needs and upcoming purchase decisions in their organization for security technology products
• Develop & document onboarding process for IPVM Research Service
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline operations and reduce manual action for common requests or recurring actions
• Identify areas of friction and suggest improvement to remove or reduce customer interaction with IPVM friction
• Work on opportunities for upsells in the form of additional seats or new research of security technology products & companies
• Work with marketing on key messages to incorporate into marketing collateral from existing customers
• Work with marketing on developing customer success stories that tell a story of the challenge they faced and how our research helped them in qualitative and quantitative means

3+ years of customer success experience and a bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Experience working with physical security end users (ie Global Physical Security Directors and similar) and System Integrators is recommended.
